Letterman was interviewed on Stern the other day and he said a friend of his "on the inside" told him that the reason Pence didn't wear a mask when he went to the Mayo Clinic was because Trump had told him not to, since he refuses to wear one (makes perfect sense), and the reason why Trump won't wear a mask is because his handlers can't figure out how to get one to stay on him without messing his hair up.  Since it's Letterman it's likely to be a joke, but I can totally see it being true.

Or pence was going for assassination by Covid. Betting on the fact that he's more likely to survive if both him and Trumpster get it

Yeah, I posted that a few dozen posts up. :P

Trump now says that he was wearing a mask at the mask factory, and it's not his fault that reporters didn't see him wearing it, and he was wearing it backstage.

Trump's valet has the virus.  Dare I hope?
I've given it serious thought. I must scorn the ways of my family, and seek a Japanese woman to yield me my progeny. He shall live in the lands of the east, and be well tutored in his sacred trust to weave the best traditions of Japan and the Sacred South together, until such time as he (or, indeed his house, which will periodically require infusion of both Southern and Japanese bloodlines of note) can deliver to the South it's independence, either in this world or in space.  -Lettow April of 2011

Turns out you don't need a wall to halt immigration to the US.  You just need such incompetent management of a pandemic that migrants flee a dysfunctional America for the relative safety of destitute cartel infested Guatemala, etc.

QuoteMEXICO CITY — A migrant shelter in southern Mexico called La 72 has for years been a popular way station for those traveling from Central America to the United States. Last year it received a record number of visitors, sometimes sheltering more than 2,000 a month.

In recent weeks, however, that traffic has come to a grinding halt, and even gone into reverse.

Since late March, amid the coronavirus pandemic, no more than 100 migrants have passed through the shelter. And nearly all were heading south, trying to get back to their homes in Central America.

Congrats Donald!  Promises kept!
if he's re-elected, I fear Mexico and Canada will both have to build a wall :(

Too late. Mexico lost 197 people yesterday and have already lost 257 today :(

The President has started referring to us all "warriors".  I think he's trying to prepare us for the number of fatalities incurred by ignoring CDC guidelines.

We must fight to save his re-election chances.

Just kidding...sort of.
