Is this a tiny minority of Trumpists or is it more widespread?

The hard core here is QAnon and the anti-vaxxers (the latter of whom are not universally Trumpers).  It's a small group but similar themes have filtered through the mainstream right. Attacks on Fauci are now commonplace in conservative media and Trump's retweet of one of them had added fuel to the fire, as has his apparent endorsement of the Michigan etc "rebellions".  Laura Ingraham - a Fox News tentpole with millions of viewers - has repeated attacks on Gates and hosted conspiracy theorists on her show.

Perhaps the New California Republic or Cascadia are not such bad ideas after all.

The complete collapse of da feds as a credible partner sure makes secession the natural step at this point, for states that don't prefer to spread cheeks for further ramming.

What? No. We need everybody working together to stop this plague.

A treasonous man named Debroah? :hmm:

I continue to be fascinated at these protests demanding we open everything and people are still wearing masks.

Not sure if serious.

I wonder how long that woman has been stuck in that car window.
I've given it serious thought. I must scorn the ways of my family, and seek a Japanese woman to yield me my progeny. He shall live in the lands of the east, and be well tutored in his sacred trust to weave the best traditions of Japan and the Sacred South together, until such time as he (or, indeed his house, which will periodically require infusion of both Southern and Japanese bloodlines of note) can deliver to the South it's independence, either in this world or in space.  -Lettow April of 2011

Over a dozen american officials working at WHO warned Trump of coronavirus pandemic

I still agree the WHO mishandled the situation at first, and questions will need to be asked and answers given.

However, if America's own people sent warnings that were ignored, it's even more damning for Trump to have done nothing.

His calls, on Twitter, to reopen the economy, are mostly a way to shift the burden of the problems on the States themselves: they remain close and suffer financial difficulties?  It's the State's fault, not Trump's responsibility.  They reopen too sone and suffer financial difficulties and many deaths?  It's the State's fault, not Trump's responsibility.  That's why he also keeps blaming China and the WHO for his unprepardness.  Everyone is responsible, save for him.

The worst part is that most Republican electors will still buy his stories and vote him. :(
