Some good choices, particularly for Mississippi, Illinois, Arkansas, and of course Fargo for North Dakota.
Colorado, though, is the best: Wolverines! Wolverines! :D

Sadly, Virginia got some crap movie.

Arkansas? A western? :yeahright:

That said, I'm hard pressed to think of alternatives. Maybe Primary Colors.  :D

Arkansas has always been a frontier between the South and the West. Jesse James, who one could argue is more associated with the Wild West, was active in the Ozarks. And Fort Smith, where True Grit is set, is right next to Indian Country. It was indeed "Western" back in those days. Ever hear of the Hanging Judge, Isaac Parker? :P

Primary Colors would have been an acceptable choice too for a movie set in the state.

lol, here's another Arkansas movie:

Never heard of it but my real problem was with King Kong.
With Patrick Swayze, about some surfers who also like paradiving?  Don't tell me you've never seen this!  It aired a gazillion times on tv !

I don't do meditation.  I drink alcohol to relax, like normal people.

Didn't Fargo actually take place in Minnesooota?

The big 2 states choices (NY & California) are weird.

Texas is bigger than NY :contract:

Not in terms of civilization.

Florida should have been 'Scarface' :ultra:

I guess 'Coal Miner's Daughter' is ok for Kentucky.  Certainly better than 'Elizabethtown' :bleeding:

That's fucking awesome.

Yeah, that documentary is comedy gold. The first 30 minutes are a bunch of semi-retarded white trash trying to act all hard. If some redneck whore with a hick accent tried tell me she's a Crip G or whatever the fuck, I'd laugh at her. The last 30 minutes show the REAL hard, pipe-hitting niggers. And Neil, I assure you, our niggers are just as brutal and violent as any in the nation.

But Gang War: Bangin' In Little Rock is most notable for one scene. Watch around the 37:00 minute mark. A few minutes into it, some niggers get shot at in a drive-by. I'm not sure (I don't spend that much time in the hood), but I think it happened around MLK Jr. Boulevard. I think you'd appreciate that. :)

This is what Mississippi's movie should have been:

Yah!

Yew betcha! - there's just a few that take place in ND.
But try to think of another movie that's even associated with North Dakota.

Gotta be some injun flick.  Like the one where Ricardo Montalban leads a heroic trek to Canada.
