Quite a lot of people were shouting Brexit at the pub where I watched the game.

So, Roy falls on his sword.

Now let's hope some of the players have as much honour and self-awareness.

If Messi can retire at a young age, so can they.

I must say that England has made Spain look downright respectable, both in football and politics.  :P

Whether the next team is chosen by a rugby coach or a referendum, the results can't get much worse/more hilarious, can they?

Zanza, I doubt there will be many pictures of older people similarly gutted. Not just because that is something you grow out of, but also because anyone who has lived through a few major international tournaments knows what to expect from England.
They who can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety.

There's a fine line between salvation and drinking poison in the jungle.

I'm embarrassed. I've been making the mistake of associating with you. It won't happen again. :)

We should have just sent the full Leicester City squad minus its foreign players instead.
