Sorry, but this is total bullshit. I can understand a temp ban for mouthing off to a mod. That's well deserved.

But this feels arbitrary and petty. It seems like this is more about satisfying personal vendettas and political differences than moderating the forum. Please reinstate him, or give him some kind of firm and reasonable boundary for his ban. Banning him because we don't like him is silly. There are plenty of posters here who are just as bad in other ways. This is Martinus bashing at its worst.

If that's true, then he shouldn't have been banned.  As CdM was told once, his own posts as a poster are fair game, just like everyone else's.
