RIP :(

He was somehow both loathsome and lovable.  And of all things that could have killed him, it ended up being cancer.

There goes the dream of Ford being Canadian PM to Trump's US Pres.  :(

I'm sorry for his family's loss.

And thus ends Toronto's 15 minutes of international notoriety.

RIP Rob Ford.

His antics in the end of course made him deeply unqualified to be Mayor, of course.

But he was so... refreshing.  Conservatives have had a decent amount of success on the provincial and federal levels, but municipal politics have long, long been the sole domain of the left wing.  It was nice to see some push-back on that from Toronto of all places.  And Ford was so unapologetic about his agenda, which simply boiled down to cutting spending.

He wasn't as strong on law and order.

He wasn't as strong on law and order.

He's the first mayor who could cut down the crime rate simply by changing his recreational activities.  ;)

He was a man of law and order except in his personal life.

I'm embarrassed. I've been making the mistake of associating with you. It won't happen again. :)

I don't remember that episode.
