Quite often former service people are actually less militaristic than their civilian counterparts, having seen some of the downsides themselves; not sure if that is the case for Mordaunt though.

Anyway I'm off to vote for the Lib-Dems.

Tommy Robinson was on the ballot  <_<

I wish, but I doubt it will be the case, that Labour will do some soul seeking when the Brexit party and Lib Dems see strong returns.

They'll see Farage again killing it and decide they need to go full Nodealers.

Mordaunt? Interesting, that was the name of the fanatic in the Three Musketeers sequel, Twenty Years after.
Son of Milady de Winter.

Yes, I try not to be biassed against her for that; but we really can't have her as PM as she would get to be alone with the Queen once a week  :o

It is highly embarassing but only today I have realised that I had the option to vote in today's election.  :Embarrass: Although I am not sure if Hungary actually allows you to switch your European votes that way.

I've only realised this because of several complaints from EU citizens, who did the extra paperwork necessary, just to be denied at the polling station, amid claims of missed or late-processed paperwork.

Depends on the country, in Germany they send you a letter to remind you that you can vote. Automatic registration or pretty close.
Could have voted thrice.

Yeah I did get a letter but I thought they made a mistake.  :Embarrass:

Anyways, hopefully the next general election will be held off until roughly this time next year, so I'll be able to participate in that as a citizen.

Well I still have a few months before I can apply for it, so let's not cook uncaught rabbits. :)

... Fake saying to be funny, or?
Being lazy is bad; unless you still get what you want, then it's called "patience".
