How does that work?  I put money on the Bears.  The Bears tie.  The magic number is 13 comma fifty.  Do I win or lose?

If you put money on a tie and they tie you get your money back 13.5 times (no matter who wins or not in the OT), as I said it's rarely used for American football but very common for football and that's why the option is there.
