What the hell?  What country has the Double Headed Eagle with the same population as Vermont?  The Byzanteen Empire?

Lots of double headed eagles in eastern European countries' coats of arms. That particular one seems to be Montenegro.

The flag is probably the best thing about the country. :P

To be honest, I think this map is bollocks. All national pride aside (which I don't have much of, admittedly) I don't think Poland is anywhere near California, which is apparently the world's fourth economy. Or is it after it went bankrupt? :P

It's population sizes. Not GNP.

It is based on population only.  Poland simply has as many warm bodies as Cali.
