That was an atrocious game.  I remember my friend Michael got a copy of it, we were all jazzed to play it and after about 30 minutes, we put Defender back in.

My mom bought Atari from a garage sale and a whole bunch of games came with it.  Most of them didn't have manuals, so I never did figure what the fuck I was suppose to be doing in ET.
I've given it serious thought. I must scorn the ways of my family, and seek a Japanese woman to yield me my progeny. He shall live in the lands of the east, and be well tutored in his sacred trust to weave the best traditions of Japan and the Sacred South together, until such time as he (or, indeed his house, which will periodically require infusion of both Southern and Japanese bloodlines of note) can deliver to the South it's independence, either in this world or in space.  -Lettow April of 2011

Phone Home?
It is far better for the truth to tear my flesh to pieces, then for my soul to wander through darkness in eternal damnation.

Jet: So what kind of woman is she? What's Julia like?
Faye: Ordinary. The kind of beautiful, dangerous ordinary that you just can't leave alone.
Jet: I see.
Faye: Like an angel from the underworld. Or a devil from Paradise.

Because the first post had the photo sideways, so I had to go into picassa, rotate it, export it and repost.

We got our own News of the World scandal! Se og Hør (famed for being second after the french to publish Princess Kate's titties) has been spying on royals and celebrities via their credit cards. They had an inside guy in Nets (state company that handles all credit card transaction) and used the information to get live updates on whereabouts.

Heads will roll, probably.

The city I live in wants to name its airport after Rommel.

Not field marshal Erwin Rommel though, but mayor Manfred Rommel, his son and long-time mayor of the city.

celedhring

Rommel is a PC nazi, anyway.

What do the fat Korean kid and the EU have in common? - Their idea of democracy.

That's a real election poster by Germany's euro-critical AfD party.

They should compromise by naming it after Herr Manfred Mann. :)

That doesn't even make sense.

If it was true, then the EUphile candidates will win with 99+% in a rigged count and the people against them would be sent to a gulag. Not a compelling reason to go out and support the EU skeptics.
They who can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety.

I'm embarrassed. I've been making the mistake of associating with you. It won't happen again. :)
