And the only thing interesting here this morning is timmay's spelling errors.

My dump this morning was mediocre, in size and smell.

With low flow toilets, you about have to use a plunger everyday.

A baby raccoon decided to adopt my brother.  Guy's like Francis of Assisi.  Animals are always coming over to him.  Took it to local animal shelter.  My mom asked if I wanted to see it ( the shelter).  Told me they two lions there.  Oh, yeah, that'll be the day.
I've given it serious thought. I must scorn the ways of my family, and seek a Japanese woman to yield me my progeny. He shall live in the lands of the east, and be well tutored in his sacred trust to weave the best traditions of Japan and the Sacred South together, until such time as he (or, indeed his house, which will periodically require infusion of both Southern and Japanese bloodlines of note) can deliver to the South it's independence, either in this world or in space.  -Lettow April of 2011

I found out at 10:30AM that I was supposed to have been at work at 7:00AM, I then drove 45 minutes south to do a job that didn't need to be done, then drove another 30 minutes south to finish a job that some one else fucked up, then the transmission in my work truck started acting up, and as I was limping back to the freeway without using first gear someone pointed out that I had a flat tire. I made an illegal U-turn to get to the place that would fix my tire for free. They said it would be 15-20 minutes, and hour and a half later I was on my way home and the transmission seemed fine.

Yeah.  Still digesting the episode.
The medievals were only too right in taking nolo episcopari as the best reason a man could give to others for making him a bishop. Give me a king whose chief interest in life is stamps, railways, or race-horses; and who has the power to sack his Vizier (or whatever you care to call him) if he does not like the cut of his trousers.

Government is an abstract noun meaning the art and process of governing and it should be an offence to write it with a capital G or so as to refer to people.

I'm wondering what the loophole was.

Did Jacob or Esau save Ben's life after Sayyid shot him?  I'd started thinking Ben was some kind of Avatar of the dark side of the Island; remember Richard saying that "his innocence would be gone", and that would help to explain his super-human abilities at lying and speaking languages (Arabic and Turkish, at least).

I'm pretty pissed off if they got rid of Juliet, Ur-Locke and Sayyid in the same episode.  Fuuuck.  They even got rid of Caesar before he'd become a major character!  Though I think Ricardus and Illana are going to become major characters, which I am stoked about.

It is far better for the truth to tear my flesh to pieces, then for my soul to wander through darkness in eternal damnation.

Jet: So what kind of woman is she? What's Julia like?
Faye: Ordinary. The kind of beautiful, dangerous ordinary that you just can't leave alone.
Jet: I see.
Faye: Like an angel from the underworld. Or a devil from Paradise.

Yes, pretty good stuff there. I think I have a decent idea of what is actually going on now. We'll see in season 6 if my simple little theory holds up.
