Never used toothpaste to "resurface" Wii discs, assuming that's what you meant.

To help deal with homeless men?

It's a problem we have in Canada.  If you provide an enclosed bathroom in certain parts of town homeless people will start sleeping in them, shooting up in them, etc.  If you don't provide public washrooms the homeless (who are largely men) will just piss and shit on the streets.

We have a public washroom in one of Edmonton's biggest areas for homeless people that does have both male and female washrooms - but it has glass walls.  In North American style the slatts themselves have privacy walls (which start about a foot off the ground, so your feet are visible), but every other part is open to public viewing.

The problem is that men in Paris evidently already openly piss in the streets, only without the toilet box. Leading to the piss in the streets and public-exposure concerns.

Well their point, well their understandable point, was that women have issues breast-feeding in public in Paris for some reason. Is there some kind of ordinance against it?

I still think damaging the damn things was a bit ridiculous. They could have simply vandalized them with some spray paint or something and gotten their point across. But hey I don't know the whole history of the breast feeding thing or even what exactly Paris does to crack down on breast feeding.
