Detroitification, not bad... The city that reminded me most of the D in the UK was Glasgow (although I haven't been to either Manchester or Leeds), it had the same sort of industrial decay everywhere.
In Italy, for thirty years under the Borgias, they had warfare, terror, murder and bloodshed, but they produced Michelangelo, Leonardo da Vinci and the Renaissance. In Switzerland, they had brotherly love, they had five hundred years of democracy and peace—and what did that produce? The cuckoo clock

6 is too many. At that density bats will have trouble getting into their roofs.

That is a (former) tower in Walker, a few miles east of Newcastle. The average house price there is £135k, so not comparable to the situation in the benighted South  :P

It looked quite dystopian. :)

The College of psychologists in Ontario had ordered that Jordan Peterson undergo remedial professionalism training.  The reason for issuing the order is that he had identified himself as a clinical psychologist. During the course of remarks he made, which the college decided were unprofessional.

Peterson sought to overturn the direction through a judicial review to the court. The court recently upheld the decision, and found that it was reasonable, balancing the charter, right to freedom of expression, with the colleges obligation to safeguard the public by upholding high professionalism standards for those licensed by the college.

Is Peterson even practicing these days, or is he purely having the fight for reasons of pride and/ or publicity.

What do you mean "pride?" What do you mean "publicity?" What do you mean "fight?" What do you mean "of?" :P

I'm slightly on the fence, but I am very uneasy with going after people's professional qualifications because of comments they make in a clearly non-professional setting.
Posts here are my own private opinions.  I do not speak for my employer.

Wasn't it "just" media training? In which case it kind of goes to BBs point, is media training within the purview a professional body?

Granted I am not exactly a big consumer of his content but I thought he was giving psychological advice based on the fact he had those credentials.

No, it was remedial training on how to comply with his professional obligations as a College registrant.  The facts are interesting, the College attempted for some time to encourage Peterson to take more care when he made comments as a registered psychologist, all of which were either ignored or rebuffed.  He purported to then take remedial training from his own experts.  But the College found as a fact, which the court accepted, that the people he selected did not have either the requisite knowledge nor independence to provide training regarding the minimum standards of professionalism which is required.

Yes, that is why the College found they had jurisdiction to issue the order, and the Court found that to be a reasonable decision in the circumstances.

Here is a quote from the case digest which helps provide more context regarding this question.

Quotethe Court rejected the argument that, because the comments were private, off-duty comments, they were not subject to regulatory oversight by the College, since Peterson had identified himself as a psychologist when making the comments. In this regard, noting that "many other professional discipline cases have involved situations in which a member's misconduct in their personal life, or outside the immediate context of practising their profession, has nevertheless resulted in regulatory action," the Court cited Dr. Jha v College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario, 2022 ONSC 769 (CanLII), in which Justice Jill Copeland stated: "It is well-established that actions of members of a profession in their private lives may in some cases be relevant to and have an impact on their professional lives – including where the conduct is not consistent with the core values of a profession and/or where there is a need for a regulated profession to maintain confidence of the public in the profession and not be seen to condone certain types of conduct by its members...."

As you will see from my post above, the argument that it was clearly a non-professional setting was rejected by the College and the Court.

Well, actually you won't. But I will post in response to your post in order to ensure others are not led astray by your incorrect characterization of what occurred.

I wonder. Why is it people so often  say acorn when they mean pinecone?
I noticed in a well known kids book and animation (room on the broom) they do this too.
I wonder if this is some kind of thing like corn where it can mean a specific sort but is also a more general term.
Only I find with this it's the non acorn that seems to be most Commonly called acorn
