Presumably the 70,000 people there, and some of their associates?

I didn't know. What's going on? Why are they stranded? Is it dangerous?

Not really, maybe they should have considered the weather forecast and planned accordingly?

QuoteNo more cordon blur: France prepares to ban vegetarian products from using meaty language

The French government has said it is preparing a new decree against meaty terms like "steak", "grill" and "spare ribs" being used to describe plant-based products.

Its latest decree is "an issue of transparency and honesty responding to the legitimate expectations of consumers and producers", agriculture minister Marc Fesneau said in a statement on Monday.

Farmers and firms in France's meat supply chain have long militated against terms like "plant-based burger" or "vegan sausage", claiming that they confuse consumers.

The Brain

Avoiding mislabeling of food seems a good thing. But looks like they intend to make too many words meat-only words.

I love vegetarian food. I never got the attraction of faux meat products.

Banning vegan burger and sausage is dumb, but more understanding of Banning the use of cuts of meat like steak and spare rib.

Broadly agreed. Though not sure on steak, that means a big hunk of something and seems very possible to have with veggie stuff

Ban of mislabelling of pricy ersatz food is fine.  :P
