This would only mean you are going to be in real trouble if you cause an accident while drunk or under the influence I presume. So long as you can be high and drunk and not have any accidents you should be gold...unless the Gendarmes are going to be patrolling the countryside testing hunters or something.

Strangely enough, French links, including the France Info site, only mentions Willy Schraen's opposition to a ban of hunting on Sundays or holidays.
