My late cat bit me hundreds--maybe even thousands--of times and I never got an infection. :hmm:

Play bites or real deep bites?  My cat play bites, but once she gave me a really deep bite which hurt like hell and became infected immediately.
I've given it serious thought. I must scorn the ways of my family, and seek a Japanese woman to yield me my progeny. He shall live in the lands of the east, and be well tutored in his sacred trust to weave the best traditions of Japan and the Sacred South together, until such time as he (or, indeed his house, which will periodically require infusion of both Southern and Japanese bloodlines of note) can deliver to the South it's independence, either in this world or in space.  -Lettow April of 2011

The medievals were only too right in taking nolo episcopari as the best reason a man could give to others for making him a bishop. Give me a king whose chief interest in life is stamps, railways, or race-horses; and who has the power to sack his Vizier (or whatever you care to call him) if he does not like the cut of his trousers.

Government is an abstract noun meaning the art and process of governing and it should be an offence to write it with a capital G or so as to refer to people.

I would say he broke the skin maybe a dozen times.  He drew blood far more often with his claws, which wasn't entirely his fault because he was a mutant and couldn't actually retract them... but he wouldn't let us trim them either, so they were long and extremely sharp.

Your cat bit you thousands of times?

If my cat had that attitude, I'd start cinsidering her to be a possible source of a new fur hat.  Or possibly, a pair of mittens. :hmm:

I did a personality assessment test for a job application, and I swear they were trying to weed out supervillains:

I know who my enemies are.
No one gets to take advantage of me more than once.
Sometimes I feel a kind of power around me.
People with my special talents don't need many friends.
Because of my unique abilities, I don't have many close friends.
If I was running the country, I would get things back on track.

Why would they *not* want to employ a supervillain?  :hmm:

Or a Level 1 Wizard.  With one swipe.
