Hey beeb, what are the odds that you'll deal with the two main characters in this video?

That's quite the video, isn't it.

The odds are zero, because it happened in Spruce Grove (an Edmonton suburb, but separate municipality), whereas my office covers only Edmonton proper.

Never mind - odds are approaching 100%!

So I got nosey and went digging to find out their names (names not provided in the news reports I've seen).  Turns out that while the Spruce Grove charge is indeed set for court in neighboring Stony Plain, the man does have a whole series of charges set for court in Edmonton next week in a court where I'm the Crown.  I know - it's shocking this pair has other outstanding charges. :o

No real interesting insider information though.

Just watched the video. I love the tentative use of a pack of snacks as a thrown weapon against armed police

Guys look like first class dope fiends. Or at least I hope they are, only way to explain those smarts.

RIP Ed Schultz :(

Enjoyed watching you on MSNBC.

I've given it serious thought. I must scorn the ways of my family, and seek a Japanese woman to yield me my progeny. He shall live in the lands of the east, and be well tutored in his sacred trust to weave the best traditions of Japan and the Sacred South together, until such time as he (or, indeed his house, which will periodically require infusion of both Southern and Japanese bloodlines of note) can deliver to the South it's independence, either in this world or in space.  -Lettow April of 2011

Really cool.
I'd be tempted to write something about treasure in the garden.

My dad does a lot of renovations of historic buildings for his job and he is always finding graffiti left by builders of centuries past.

Also, what kind of taser is that? The guy's only out for about 3 seconds.

That guy's resisting a whole lot for having a pistol trained on him. With different cops or in a different country this might have taken a much less comedic turn.
