I have seen my share of nerds, I have been dealing with IT people after all, and I certainly don't have to go to the neighborhood for some anti-social behavior myself, but I swear there are no bigger anti-social arrogant, condescending assholes than Unix admins. It's just revolting sometimes.

A Brazilian script kiddie finds it in less than 20 minutes, we came into work on Monday, and half the planet had our IPs onred-flagged on watch lists.

2nd time in less than a year, but does anybody get disciplined?  Pfft.

Does seem kinda interesting that while Arabs and East Asians are building ginormous 6, 7, 800 meter edifices, Europeans are reluctant to go over 300.

Happened to us today because our dumbass Mac users got jacked and their creds got used to relay spam. I'm this close to banning those stupid toy computers from the place.

We tried that;  unfortunately, once the CFO discovered the iPad, it was all over.  Result:  retrofit the entire organization's IT infrastructure to accommodate Apple bullshit.  Adios, Risk Assessment.
