A lot of people thought DMB's live shows would take a step back after LeRoi Moore's death, and while LeRoi was certainly no Big Man, they survived with a better saxophonist.

So who knows.

QuoteRochester-area woman starts 'snuggling' business

- A Rochester area woman has found an unusual niche.

If you need a hug, call Jackie Samuel of Penfield.

Samuel started her business, "The Snuggery," last month. She charges $60 an hour to snuggle.

"You feel more calm for days afterward," the 29-year-old University of Rochester graduate said. "It has numerous health benefits."

Samuel said cuddling is not about sex. It's about relaxation and physical comfort. Her clients must acknowledge there will be no sex allowed.

Before Samuel started professionally cuddling, she searched for training or a license.

"I thought I need to kind of validate my position. I need some kind of certification or license to show I'm a qualified cuddler, but I couldn't find anybody else who was doing what I was doing," she said.

But let's face it. Cuddling isn't very hard. Studies do show snuggling lowers blood pressure and stress.

"I would hope it's something everybody knows how to do. I just think we kind of lose interest or the drive in our society."

Samuel only has a few clients as she builds her business. In the meantime, she's still selling real estate.

She's cute.

I'm not sure how much blood pressure you can lose while your balls are bursting blue.

It is far better for the truth to tear my flesh to pieces, then for my soul to wander through darkness in eternal damnation.

Jet: So what kind of woman is she? What's Julia like?
Faye: Ordinary. The kind of beautiful, dangerous ordinary that you just can't leave alone.
Jet: I see.
Faye: Like an angel from the underworld. Or a devil from Paradise.

They can put them back into a flying shape in a fairly short period.  It's just storage.
I've given it serious thought. I must scorn the ways of my family, and seek a Japanese woman to yield me my progeny. He shall live in the lands of the east, and be well tutored in his sacred trust to weave the best traditions of Japan and the Sacred South together, until such time as he (or, indeed his house, which will periodically require infusion of both Southern and Japanese bloodlines of note) can deliver to the South it's independence, either in this world or in space.  -Lettow April of 2011
