I don't know about Swiss rules, he's got Swiss parents.  But you can get Irish citizenship (like me) if you've Irish grandparents (like me).

No, no Irish grandparents (thank god).

Why would I want to be Swiss?  I like guns and refuse to cooperate with my vastly inferior neighbors. :)

Booze is probably cheaper and easier to get in Switzerland though. No contest with Luxemburg as you said indeed.
