Nearly always a negative to looks IMO. I've a friend who would be quite cute if she wore contacts, has a very heart shaped face. But alas she has dodgy eyes so cannot.

I think its more of a bell curve.
After a certain time span you reach the stage where you will sleep with almost anything but then you become resigned to your situation and your standards rise sharply. Guys who haven't had sex for an age seem to have the highest standards in my observation.

That makes sense. If you can't get laid, you might as well have high standards in the girls you can't get with anyhow.
