Yeah, that's kind of how I felt.  Missed call takes four points off the board, payback for the end of the first half.
I do not hate you, nor do I love you, but you are made out of atoms which I can use for something else.

Folks were ready to run Jimmy Smith out of town last year.  Now he's erasing one of the best receivers of all time.  Good for him.

You know, now that I think about it, I haven't seen this many white people in Detroit since the 1980 Republican National Convention.

Where's the outrage on that non-call, Chucky?

Neil

I'm sure they'll be back to the suburbs soon enough.

No shit.  On that pass intereference call they had a whole segment about how the Ravens and refs were in cahoots, and then Flacco gets nailed, and you get a throwaway quote.

Way to fucking choke, Stafford.

Tucker was unstoppable, though.  Had my doubts on that last one but he got it good enough.

Tucker was insane, but you know who I have mega-respect for?  Ray Rice.  He's got the TD on that last play, but he goes down for the team so they can run the clock.  Here's a guy who has hardly broken any big runs and hardly scored this year, and he makes a team play like that?  What a mensch.

And Matt Elam with the last pick.  His ass cashes the cheques his mouth writes.

And that's why the Ravens are the Ravens, and the Lions are the Lions.
Detroit has all the talent in the world, they need to learn how to win games like this.

And now, not only is Mrs. derspiess not going to get annoyed having something poke her in the small of her back tonight while she's asleep, derspiess has to put Brady in his avatar for next week.  Oh, the huge manatee.

She's used to it.

Not sure if I'm going to be able to stomach that.  Maybe Steve Grogan.

Yeah, heady play;  not only unselfish, but he knew not to give the Lions any time at all.

I think Schwarz is going to catch shit for leaving all 3 timeouts on the board after that play;  the fans don't appreciate the appearance of giving up, even if the cause was lost.

I was really surprised Detroit abandoned the run so quickly after the success in the 1st half.  Stafford is a slinger, but it's unnecessary to throw the ball that often when you're keeping things tight and wearing down the opponent with the run, which they were doing well into the 2nd quarter even if the scoreboard didn't reflect it at the time.

lol, the Neck Rollbar of Power.

Awww yeah...

My shithead older brother used to trade me Steve Grogans for my best football cards.  Told me he was a sure thing for the HoF.  Yeah, I got wise-- by around 1987.

Can't we all just root for the Patriots to lose out and then the Bengals and Ravens can both get in?  I like that plan a lot. :)
