Fri 18th, block 110, two seats for an obscene price

But Tamas guarantees he will buy them from me in case I can't go, so I' safe  ;)

L.

I bought tickets for the same day. :w00t: Languish meet!

I'll be up in the sky, block 404.  :P

Mongers, will you be at the show, too, or are you simply suggesting the Languish Meet is a good idea?

This is a good idea. That day or the following saturday, I chose the friday show so I could attach a weekend in London  :)

L.

Maybe on friday itself is too soon, unless it's for lunch. If not, a saturday meet would indeed be outstanding.

I also chose the friday one to enjoy the weekend in London.

No, just cool that you guys were thinking of a meet up, I didn't get any tickets.

And I wouldn't know what I'd be doing in mid-July until late March/early April, so couldn't definitively commit to anything.  :(

Englishness is often interpreted as smugness.  It's just the way you people come across.  We can hear that accent in your typing.  :P

Seems to me that Americans find everyone else to be smug.

Nonsense.  There is absolutely nothing smug about the French.  If anything they are too humble for the amazing achievements of their glorious nation.

They had a much cooler revolution than we did.

He'll, everybody has cooler revolutions than we do.   :(

No, 1688 our 'Glorious' revolution was pretty dull and dire, it had to be, it started in West Dorset.  :hmm:

What are you guys paying for tickets?

Mine were 95 quid each, plus service and facility charges. 106.75 pounds for ticket in total.

So were mine. Did prices go up for the second batch?

In which section were your tickets? 95 pounds was the standard price for most of the upper rafters, except for those higher up which were 80 and those at the very top which was barely 20 something, but I guess that you'd need binoculars to see anything. There were some tickets on the ground floor for the same price but also pretty far back.

I'm in 110, I thought those were more expensive than 4xx.

Just checked, those are indeed in the same price range than mine. For the day I wanted the only ones in that section were at the back of that area, and I thought that they might be too far away. You'll tell me how it goes.  ;)

Yeah, there doesn't seem to be all that much difference. They're all pretty far from the stage  :)

I guess they'll put up some jumbotrons, otherwise it'll be binocular time.
