Had a very nice chat and dinner with Beebs and Neil. Barrister was kind of annoying, what with the constant checking of the phone like he had something else potentially going on that was more important or something.

We did mention Katmai, I think he came up in our list of "Languishites you've met but wish you hadn't".

Katmai definitely came up. 

You know, Berkut and Beeb were exactly as I expected them to be.  Berkut was able to give me an interesting perspective on the US Civil War, and recommended a naval history book.  We also discovered that our waitress was from Nova Scotia.
