I'm curious what your experience in TBay was, and why you make that recommendation.

I was being ironic.

Edmonton. Read the following in today's paper:

One of only two Canadian cities to have free wi-fi in its city core.

Has the highest proportion of Netflix subscribers.

Interesting. :hmm:

My aim, then, was to whip the rebels, to humble their pride, to follow them to their inmost recesses, and make them fear and dread us. Fear is the beginning of wisdom.

I was just there last weekend.  It remains awesome (especially the Burgess Shale exhibit and the Great Hall), but it's a three-hour drive each way.
I do not hate you, nor do I love you, but you are made out of atoms which I can use for something else.

Yeah.  The Royal Tyrrell is super-awesome, but Drumheller is not close to Edmonton.

I used the navigation in the car to get there this time, and it took me via a bunch of secondary highways.  I discovered that there's a ferry across a river in Alberta.  How quaint.

There's a ferry across the Peace River in northern Alberta. :)

Got my Albertan museums mixed up

Still, it seems to have a natural history wing

Quote
Natural History Gallery

More than a billion years of powerful forces have produced Alberta's rocks, minerals and fossils. The Natural History Gallery is an exploration of the wonders of our natural world.

The Bug Room
Meet some of the most exotic and largest bugs on the planet - up close and alive!

Reading The Rocks
See and feel the evidence of the forces which shape our landscape.
Treasures of the Earth
Experience exquisite gems and minerals whose shape and colour almost defy belief.

The Bird Gallery
With its impressive mounts, The Bird Gallery is a 3-dimensional guide to the birds of Alberta. It also features bird eggs from around the world - from the eggs of the tiny Costa's hummingbird to the giant Ostrich.

Fossils: Creatures from the Depths of Time
Glimpse into two remarkable periods in this region's past - the Cretaceous and Quaternary era. Remarkable dinosaurs to the giants of the Ice Age are on display in this fascinating gallery, which recently underwent a redesign and opened anew on April 15, 2005.

Our Green World - The Diverse Vegetation and Flora of Alberta.
This realistic and colourful gallery illustrates the unique diversity of Alberta's four ecological regions. Here you can see a huge cross section of a 381-year-old Douglas fir tree, observe beautiful mountain flowers or stand at the edge of a tranquil pond.
It is far better for the truth to tear my flesh to pieces, then for my soul to wander through darkness in eternal damnation.

Jet: So what kind of woman is she? What's Julia like?
Faye: Ordinary. The kind of beautiful, dangerous ordinary that you just can't leave alone.
Jet: I see.
Faye: Like an angel from the underworld. Or a devil from Paradise.

I'm actually on the same line of latitude as you guys, give or take a few minutes.

A bit warmer here in winter though.

Yeah, it's a few minutes south of where I used to live.

How many more Languishites do we have living (or having lived) between 53° and 54° N?
I am, somehow, less interested in the weight and convolutions of Einstein's brain than in the near certainty that people of equal talent have lived and died in cotton fields and sweatshops.

I bet Berkut just went on and on about how much he admires and loves Ray Lewis.
