So, it seems that some retards have been writing letters to the papers in San Francisco claiming that the Seahawks crowd noise is unfair, and the NFL should ban it.

ZOMG THEY HAVE A TWELF MAN YOU KNOW SO UNFAIR
It's important to remember that I've only been following the NFL since about 2003, so when I ask this question I'm being 100% genuine.  There's no malice in the question that follows.  Were 49er fans a bunch of whiny bitches last time they were good, or is it just the new generation?

QuoteQuestion:  Is it possible that the ridiculous overhype of the Eagles in the offseason has poisoned them, and that college-style offensive nonsense is only effective in the NFC Least?
It's a Michael Vick offense.  One good game, one bad game, rinse, repeat.
This is two straight bad games.  And the good game was against the Redskins, an even more overhyped paper tiger with an orange-coloured coach.
I do not hate you, nor do I love you, but you are made out of atoms which I can use for something else.

Sounds hilarious.  Damn I should have turned it on sooner.
I guess it depends on how much you like watching Alex Smith-ball.  He's not flashy, and he can't do shit in the red zone, but he wins games.

Not in my opinion.

Meh, by 1989, they were permanently insufferable.  But there was a whole lot of Steve Young hate when he started over Montana and until he finally got his own ring, and even then they still bashed him for not getting to more Super Bowls when Dallas and Green Bay were cockblocking them COZ JOE WOULDA DID IT.

I don't mind Alex Smith,  plus hey he's got Jamaal Charles back there with him.  Dude is super fast.

Jet: So what kind of woman is she? What's Julia like?
Faye: Ordinary. The kind of beautiful, dangerous ordinary that you just can't leave alone.
Jet: I see.

As well you should, since he was definitely better than Montana by 1988.

And who was he handing off to in LA?  KEVIN MACK

Heck, I don't think there's any team in the AFC that inspires confidence at this point.
Denver?

Just wait till the temperature drops, and Manning's arthritis starts flaring up.

Check this shit out:

QuoteAfter a stellar career at BYU, he signed a $42 million contract (still being paid in annuities) and spent two seasons with the USFL's Los Angeles Express.

QuoteAfter trying all season, Steve Young was finally able to buy his way out of the USFL. He went on to a Hall of Fame career in the NFL, and still receiving $1,000,000 a year from an annuity purchased by a team in a league that hasn't played a down of football in a quarter-century. Presumably, the annuity will continue to pay him until 2026.

Definitely one of the smartest QB law school grads ever.
