Why are they all crying?  Gay.

Because it's feminine to cry.

That's sexist.  You know better than that.

Of course I do. The artist, however, doesn't appear to.

Okay, so question. Is it an insult to call a man feminine?

Yes, because of heteronormativity and shit.

Pictures make me hate my nose.  Thanks.

I'm not a fan of the feminine side of masculinity and I'd say that #2 isn't feminine. That's just a man on a floral quilt.

No, that's correct.  A real man should never cry, unless they're tears of joy after personally winning the Superbowl.  Even then, it's a bit much.  Showing emotion isn't proper, it's the sort of thing that women or gays do.
I do not hate you, nor do I love you, but you are made out of atoms which I can use for something else.

Sure thing Lettow-san.

But I didn't say anything about the South or Japan or how much I like the idea of crippled girls?  I just told the people what it is to be a man, just as my father showed me.

Telling people what is and is not "proper" based on 19th century standards sounds very much like something Lettow would say.

I dunno about that; I certainly didn't feel womanly or gay showing my emotions whenever I broke a phone in the office, threw my coffee mug or punched dents in metal filing cabinets.

Well it depends on the context.

Yesterday, upon the stair,
I met a man who wasn't there
He wasn't there again today
I wish, I wish he'd go away...

Explain, please. :)

If I was trying to seduce a woman and she said 'you are so feminine, it is like hanging out with the girls' I would not take it as a compliment.

Not that that ever happened or anything.  It was a friend.

I don't know.  That final battle scene in Glory brought a tear to my eye.
I have come to believe that the whole world is an enigma, a harmless enigma that is made terrible by our own mad attempt to interpret it as though it had an underlying truth.
