Poland does have tens of millions of people.  Those don't come cheap.
wait, you're saying the fact that poland is full of poles is a plus for poland

But I wasn't talking about the arguments put forth in the article nor advancing the same.

You were suggesting a comparison of Apple and Poland's relative moral worth?  God that's funny.  Sorry I intruded.

And that makes them valuable?
Well, in the construction industry time is money. the more time it takes you to build the more you get paid, so yes, it makes them valuable actually

For once a Marti bitch thread I can agree with.

Yes, it is undeniably stupid to compare Apple's market cap. to Poland's GDP. The total value of a country the size of Poland, with its location and everything factored in, would easily be over $1tn just from all the land and buildings and natural resources therein.

I do find it surprising Poland is that poor, I mean I knew Poland was poor, but that's a low GDP for a country 38m...their population is larger than California's but their GDP is half of California's.

Additionally I just read online that 96.7% of people living in Poland are Poles, which has to decrease the intrinsic value of the country as any holdings there are infested with Poles akin to a house infested with silverfish.

BTW, did the "Occupy" movement do anything in Poland?

Well, yeah, but I was thinking Poles might have some negative associations with the word as well.
