Conan trailer:

I like the franchise to some degree, but this trailer strikes me as silly - it looks more like a generic fantasy movie that only borrows the names from the stories. I doubt it can supplant the Arnie movie.

Recently watch:
Resident Evil 4.  Bad, bad, bad.
Ghost of Girlfriends past.  Moderately funny if you're drunk and depressed by the wheater.
I don't do meditation.  I drink alcohol to relax, like normal people.

If Microsoft Excel decided to stop working overnight, the world would practically end.

Modern Family is still my favorite TV show.  But Parks & Recreation has displaced The Office as my 2nd favorite.  It started out as moderately funny in season 1 but sometime around the end of season 2 or beginning of season 3 the characters really started to develop & it got much, much better.

Ron Swanson is teh man.  A libertarian city bureaucrat?  GOLD.

"If you can play a guitar and harmonica at the same time, like Bob Dylan or Neil Young, you're a genius. But make that extra bit of effort and strap some cymbals to your knees, suddenly people want to get the hell away from you."  --Rich Hall

Admiral Yi

He looks like Michael J. Fox after he got zapped with the full-size ray.

My wife loves Parks and Rec, and I have to say that it's one of the things she watches that I don't hate.
I do not hate you, nor do I love you, but you are made out of atoms which I can use for something else.

100+ tv channels and what's about the only watchable shows tonight at 8? Either two episodes of (remastered) Star Trek TOS (Devil in the Dark and Errand of Mercy) or a documentary play about the 1920 Kapp-Putsch in Germany. Or maybe a couple of SG-1 episodes on SyFy, but I never liked ths show much.

Saw the "Found Footage Festival" last night as it made it's Vancouver stop. Some funny  ass videos - especially The Linda Blair "How To Get Revenge" video, and The "Rent-A-Friend".

Back in the days with 2-3 channels, we always found something interesting to watch, strangely :P

Yeah Parks and Rec seems to have really hit its stride this season.

I drank because I wanted to drown my sorrows, but now the damned things have learned to swim.

Yeah, I wasn't too terribly impressed during season 1 but it's really caught on.

And Ron Swanson is quickly reaching elite Jack Donaghy status.

Thor.

Was good fun, look forward to Avengers and liked the cameo from Hawkeye.
Fat, drunk and stupid is no way to go through life, son

Josquius

First episode of Camelot- lame. And to think this was being talked of as a challenger to Game of Thrones.
Gundam- Hilariously old school animation. Yet the plot is visibly modern and adultish....in part.... Strange stuff.
