Inside No 9. Last episode of the second series is actually pretty scary and one of the funnier ones.

It deserves every award :w00t:

I'm so glad that finally started up here. Can't wait till it catches up to where I was when I left NYC. :D

Started watching Exodus. Was hoping for something at least Gladiator level - not really true to the original story but still exciting entertainment flick. Was boring as hell. Did not finish.

Btw, am I the only one confusing Sigourney Weaver with Susan Surandon?

They don't even look remotely alike. Weaver was Ripley. Sarandon in "Thelma And Louise".

Okay, they both have somewhat curly hair and play strong women in most of their movies.

There was a time I got them confused, maybe 20 years ago.

They are both female - is that the source of the confusion Marti?

In several surveys, the overwhelming first choice for what makes Canada unique is multiculturalism. This, in a world collapsing into stupid, impoverishing hatreds, is the distinctly Canadian national project.

Does anyone else think "Last Week Tonight" with John Oliver is the best investigative journalism show on tv right now? It is purportedly a comedy show but it tackles more serious shit than a lot of technically "serious" tv shows.

Last night I was bored, searching around on Netflix for something to watch, when I settled on Ideo's favourite movie: Flash Gordon.

I didn't care for it. :(

I mean I think I see the appeal for Ideo - it has a very definite aesthetic sense to it - a 1930s movie serials art deco look, combined with sheer 1970s-ness of it.

But even then it was cheaply done, the lead actor couldn't act his way out of a paper bag, and a story that didn't make a whole hell of a lot of sense.
