You just had to show up and harsh my buzz didn't you  :(

Sorry.

But there really are tinny things, which is weird because the Brits made some really huge unweildy AC in ww2, Greyhounds and the Staghounds(brit name for hv US AC) are works or art in comparison.

Bugger off you wanker.

I was complimenting the US designs, they seemed more mature and effective fighting machines.

maybe, but lack the cool factor.  ;) At least the brits had the common sense to mount the 17lbr on the Sherman

11Bravo is the WW2 equivalent of all the history fascists that flipped out over 300:P

YOU CANT HUG CHILDREN WITH COMBINED ARMS

:P But really, it was a bad movie. I can forgive a lot of things. For craps sake, nothing like watching this steaming pile mouth agape for 130 min.

and another thing, who the fuck sends out four tanks w/o infantry support.

and another thing, a single broken down medium tank holding off a Waffen-SS infantry battalion. This is set 1945 not 1940 when infantry hand held HE antitank weapons were non-exsistant. Apparently Ed did not instruct his troopers in proper panzerfaust marksmanship. For shame Edward, for shame.

Hey man, I read Belton Y. Cooper's memoir.  I wasn't sold on Fury during the trailers.   :P

This was one of those I was thinking about, it's so huge very difficult to even get it into frame, where they've now got it in the museum.

And they stilled failed to use it to blow up the one tiger in Normandy.
I've given it serious thought. I must scorn the ways of my family, and seek a Japanese woman to yield me my progeny. He shall live in the lands of the east, and be well tutored in his sacred trust to weave the best traditions of Japan and the Sacred South together, until such time as he (or, indeed his house, which will periodically require infusion of both Southern and Japanese bloodlines of note) can deliver to the South it's independence, either in this world or in space.  -Lettow April of 2011

Martinus

Ok, now I found Stephen Amell is apparently a huge LGBT ally.

Arrow/Flash must be the gayest show on tv right now.

The Brain

Why is everything about the gay with you people? You don't see normal discussions here focusing on tits and asses of actresses and the desire to cane and fuck them.
Women want me. Men want to be with me.

Ideologue

You know, if the guy was gay, I'd understand the reaction.  You like gay guys.  Cool.

But you're basically like OMG AMAZING because he's taken a mainstream moral position, and is espousing a social norm.  Would you be surprised and edified to discover that Stephen Arnell opposed slavery?
Kinemalogue
Current reviews: The 'Burbs (9/10); Gremlins 2: The New Batch (9/10); John Wick: Chapter 2 (9/10); A Cure For Wellness (4/10)

Hot straight guys who openly talk about being gay friendly and fighting homophobia are some of the hottest things. :P

Martinus, meet Brain.

Watched the first series of Getting On, a comedy about a return-to-work nurse on an NHS geriatric ward. Very impressive

So all it take is a bit of fanservice for the female fans to make a show ghey?
First Maxim - "There are only two amounts, too few and enough."
First Corollary - "You cannot have too many soldiers, only too few supplies."
Second Maxim - "Be willing to exchange a bad idea for a good one."
Second Corollary - "You can only be wrong or agree with me."

A terrorist which starts a slaughter quoting Locke, Burke and Mill has completely missed the point.
The fact remains that the only person or group to applaud the Norway massacre are random Islamists.

The Inbetweeners 2.
While the first movie, and the series, had huge amounts of great hilarity and "yeah, I have been there" recognisation, this was just pure shite wrapped in the Inbetweeners label.
Some funny lines now and then.
"She's microwaving my Playstation" and "I've only shat in your face once", but all in all a rather disappointing experience.
