Can you think of any films other than Independence day in which the White House is blown up or otherwise utterly destroyed?

There's a scene in "By Dawn's Early Light" where a nuke takes out Washington.
You don't see the exterior of the WH getting nuked, it's just from inside the residence.  Ball of light, and all that.

Other than that, can't think of any others.

Of course, General Zod and company tears it apart in Superman II.  But I don't think that's what you have in mind.

Bugger. I'm informed I can't state "Independence Day is the best cinematic blowing-up of the Whitehouse. Official." unless I can name three examples. Bet some Japanese monster movies had it suffer some good stomping action somewhere.

Obviously he doesn't like to hear the Stars and Stripes played by a mariachi band.

Now that would be cool. But the movie, not so much.

Surely Wikipedia has an entry for "The White House in popular culture"?
" SIR – I must commend you on some of your recent obituaries. I was delighted to read of the deaths of Foday Sankoh (August 9th), and Uday and Qusay Hussein (July 26th). Do you take requests? "

Look to b-movies I'd say, there must be something, I'm no expert on the genre though.

Its not blown up but Deep Impact has some good White House trashing IIRC.
