I've given it serious thought. I must scorn the ways of my family, and seek a Japanese woman to yield me my progeny. He shall live in the lands of the east, and be well tutored in his sacred trust to weave the best traditions of Japan and the Sacred South together, until such time as he (or, indeed his house, which will periodically require infusion of both Southern and Japanese bloodlines of note) can deliver to the South it's independence, either in this world or in space.  -Lettow April of 2011

Not really.  Both honest and dishonest people do that. 

The one thing I have noticed often is that the people who say they don't give a fuck what other people think tend to do that out of necessity.  They would rather do give a fuck, but unfortunately there is nothing complimentary to give a fuck about.

The reason he can't show any evidence that I am trying to "drive him off the board" is because there isn't any such evidence.  There's no evidence because I don't have any problem with him posting on the board.  In fact, I find his posts rather amusing... like the post in this thread where he claimed, out of the blue, that I was trying to drive him off the board.   That's just so bizarre that I have to laugh.  Sometimes, he's even funny when he tries to be funny.  So, overall, he is more amusing than most (though he can't tough The Brain for amusing posts).  I have no incentive to "drive him off the board."  I also have no incentive to encourage him to change his debating behavior.

You'll note, though, that he threw in a bunch of random quotes without any indication of who posted that, when they posted it, or what the context was.  That kind of intellectually dishonest stuff is why I won't respond to him.  He's not interested in debate, just "winning."  I don't mind that he does that, but I won't go down that rathole.

I was having fun.  I really don't care what you think.  I thought of linking the quotes, but then I asked, why should I?  Would Grumbler give me the same respect? 

I will tell you, trying to get everyone here to ignore my posts seems like a strategy to drive me off.  There is one thing you can't stand, and that's looking like a fool, and that's why started to ignore me years ago.  I made you look like a fool and others laughed at you.  And you know what?  They would laugh at you if I had never come here.  People here already think you are a laughable and absurd person.  Debating semantics when you lose an argument and preening about how you what an advanced thinker you are.  You are a joke, but that doesn't fit with your internal world view.  So you ignore that and me to keep from facing it.

One of the things that keeps Languish entertaining is Grumbler's need to insult you through the odd practice of pretending not to read your posts but then commenting on you by responding to others.  And you keep saying you are the one who is insane  :lol:

Anyway Raz, you are one of the posters that keeps me here.  :)  Glad you didnt give in to either the bullying of Marti or the extreme passive aggressive behavior of Grumbles.  :)

Grumbles, you would do well to learn from Yi.  He really does ignore my posts.  :P
