to get over 90% score for any of the parties or below 20% for any other party you specifically need to know what the party polices are and pic accordingly. Its the americans which are gettting super high and super low scores for the parties. Europens are scoring much more balanced scores, this might be due to us yooroos not understanding what the myRA is or other stuff.
First Maxim - "There are only two amounts, too few and enough."
First Corollary - "You cannot have too many soldiers, only too few supplies."
Second Maxim - "Be willing to exchange a bad idea for a good one."
Second Corollary - "You can only be wrong or agree with me."

A terrorist which starts a slaughter quoting Locke, Burke and Mill has completely missed the point.
The fact remains that the only person or group to applaud the Norway massacre are random Islamists.

95% Dem (meh)
82% Green
77% Socialist
43% Libertarian
10% GOP

Apparently I side with both the GOP and the Greens on enviromental issues.

Foreign policy and immigration definitely moved me to the right, even though my views are technically hard left, only without all the touchy-feely surface crap.

Quote... my actual immigration views, which are "citizenship for everyone here, treat all subsequent unlawful visitors as combatants," so I had to keep choosing the "deport everyone, including third-generation immigrants" Nazi options.

That is not a hard-left opinion.  That is some sort of bastard child of the head-left and hard-right.

Here's a test from the Pew Research Center which has typology rather than party results:  http://www.people-press.org/quiz/political-typology/

QuoteYour best fit is...

Young Outsider

This relatively young, largely independent group holds a mix of conservative and liberal views. And while more lean toward the Republican Party than the Democratic Party, Young Outsiders generally express unfavorable opinions of both major parties. They are largely skeptical of activist government, as a substantial majority views government as wasteful and inefficient. Yet many diverge from the two conservative typology groups – Steadfast Conservatives and Business Conservatives – in their strong support for the environment and many liberal social policies.

The name amuses me in that I'm neither young nor alienated.   :)
In Italy, for thirty years under the Borgias, they had warfare, terror, murder and bloodshed, but they produced Michelangelo, Leonardo da Vinci and the Renaissance. In Switzerland, they had brotherly love, they had five hundred years of democracy and peace—and what did that produce? The cuckoo clock

I am next generation left it seems.  I keep becoming more of a Commie as I get older.  I blame Languish.

QuoteGenerally young, well-educated and financially comfortable, the Next Generation Left have very liberal attitudes on many issues, including homosexuality, abortion, the environment and foreign policy. While overall supportive of an activist government, most are wary of expanding the social safety net. Most also have relatively positive views of Wall Street's impact on the economy. While most affiliate with the Democratic Party or lean Democratic, few consider themselves strong Democrats

It is the homo-loving and isolationist stuff isn't it?

Of course I am not really that young, well-educated, or financially comfortable  <_<

Zmiinyi defenders: "Russian warship, go fuck yourself."

Apparently if I was a US citizen I'd be a Business Conservative. Seems fair I guess.

Quotegenerally are traditional small-government Republicans. Overwhelming percentages think that government is almost always wasteful and it does too much better left to businesses and individuals. Business Conservatives differ from Steadfast Conservatives in their positive attitudes toward business and in their strong support for Wall Street in particular. Most think that immigrants strengthen the country and take a positive view of U.S. global involvement. As a group, they are less socially conservative than Steadfast Conservatives.

I got... Solid Liberal

Quote
Generally affluent and highly educated, most Solid Liberals strongly support the social safety net and take very liberal positions on virtually all issues. Most say they always vote Democratic and are unflagging supporters of Barack Obama. Overall, Solid Liberals are very optimistic about the nation's future and are the most likely to say that America's success is linked to its ability to change, rather than its reliance on long-standing principles. On foreign policy, Solid Liberals overwhelmingly believe that good diplomacy – rather than military strength – is the best way to ensure peace.

However, 80% of the questions I would've answered "neither". I picked up the liberal option most of the time basically because I agreed on principle, but not in the absolute terms posited.

garbon

I'm also next gen left.  But yeah, celedhring, I agree that in most cases I would not have picked either option given. Both were often so far away that there wasn't really one that was closest in a meaningful sense.

edit: looking at the infographics, I'm on the right most side of next gen left, so more conservative than liberal.

I don't know. I was homo-loving and interventionist.
