I just finished putting the second wave of gifts under the tree. The 'Santa' delivered gifts. The kids are gonna shit bricks.

I've had a super constructive christmas of deconstruction.

Tonight's holiday special is A Jacques Derrida Christmas.
In Italy, for thirty years under the Borgias, they had warfare, terror, murder and bloodshed, but they produced Michelangelo, Leonardo da Vinci and the Renaissance. In Switzerland, they had brotherly love, they had five hundred years of democracy and peace—and what did that produce? The cuckoo clock

Today is Christmas.  Happy Christmas to everybody.
I do not hate you, nor do I love you, but you are made out of atoms which I can use for something else.

Merry Christmas to everyone!

I got a bunch of books, a coat, and a prepaid weekend in an european major city of my choice! Oh, and two small Lego Architecture boxes. It's been a good Santa this year

Merry Christmas everybody.  I got $350 in various forms of real and notional currency, a pledge to have my dental work paid for, and a pair of slightly used sneakers.  I spent no money on travel because my sister picked up me and took me home on her way from and back to Charleston.

I gave my dad the Criterion disc of Bergman's Magician, which is great because his bootlegged copy was unwatchably botched.  I also gave him a choice of one of my other Criterion boxes.  Shrewdly, he chose the Yojimbo/Sanjuro set.  I played some tennis with my father as I did on Thanksgiving and he beat me every time but I am getting better.
