I am going to be doing a presentation on the Brusilov offensive next summer so it might help spice things up a bit.

Having a quick look at Wikipedia, it has as KuK WW1 military personnel an interesting rogues gallery: Tito, Tiso, Horthy, Zog I, Imre Nagy ...

But it also has Fritz Lang, Oskar Kokoschka, Robert Musil, Joseph Roth, Egon Schiele, Arnold Schoenberg, Franz Werfel, or Ludwig Wittgenstein.
