Kobo e-readers

I'm happy to say that getting the new Kobo has been a resounding success in the Jacob household.

Right now it's replaced youtube and videogames for my 11-year old as his default "I don't know what I'll do with myself, so I guess I'll just look at this screen" activity.

I haven't really gotten to use it much myself, but it's a sacrifice I'm more than willing to make

Not yet, but I'm considering it. If the boy keeps reading at the current speed it may be worthwhile.

Pity I didn't find out about that at the start of Winter, maybe I'll do it next Winter.

Fantastic that your kid has become a kobo addict Jacob 

I'm currently working my way through my kindle backlog, in Portugal no less, and will be buying the kobo replacement once I'm back in Blighty

I got the kobo libra colour, kobo colour libra?, in the end. I'm very pleased with it, the colour is a bit marginal in terms of usefulness but does make reading guidebooks on the device more fun; I do a lot of that as I'm taking many holidays before decrepitude becomes an issue. I like the physical page turning buttons, the main potential downside is that it uses up its battery charge a lot quicker than my old kindle.
