It feels like you still do that on the hopes that his attention gets distracted elsewhere. I don't see how you outlast him by tormenting him.

Canada, Mexico and China have an extraordinarily large share of US trade; about 50%. If he slaps tariffs on the EU as well the USA will be the first country to sanction itself

My worry is that, the world's reflex learned from his first term is that a Trump presidency is an elderly toddler being in charge of largely sane and responisble people so if you weather the mood swings you'll be fine.

And that might still be true but what's more likely is that this time around the toddler is in charge of crew of incompetent people with no morals.

And I am hoping it's just me not consuming US news sources but it feels like the opposition is in utter apathy.
