Quote from: celedhring on July 17, 2023, 09:42:40 AMSo Spain has a general election this coming Sunday. We're probably getting far right assholes in government this time around, but let's focus on the essentials here: who would you vote for based solely on looks?
The lady in jeans and leather jacket.  She doesn't look like a communist.  Please tell me I'm not wrong! :P

Edit:
looking it up, she's not a commie, but I did not choose wisely either!

QuoteTo be frank, though, she's a fake blonde. Older pictures have her with brown hair.

I picked a nazi didint I.

Hey. What happened to that really hot Spanish nazi?

After looking up the MILF-y lady I voted for (#6) I am happy with my choice.

It looks like PP should win...they aren't Nazis right? So I guess doing better than Finland.

Zmiinyi defenders: "Russian warship, go fuck yourself."

QuoteAs democracy is perfected, the office of president represents, more and more closely, the inner soul of the people. On some great and glorious day the plain folks of the land will reach their heart's desire at last and the White House will be adorned by a downright moron.

H.L. Mencken

PP is the party that will bring the fascists from Vox as their coalition partner into power though.

Richard Hakluyt

Voted for #7 as he is sporting an annoyingly large tieknot which I approve of.

Ah, he's a splitter  :P

Yeah, the thing with this election is that the conservative candidate (which Barrister correctly picked  :P ) seems harmless enough, but he will need Vox for a coalition, and their existing coalitions at the local and regional level aren't particularly reassuring...

Pedrito

# 1, although a green tie can't be seen on a blue suit

Sophie Scholl

I went with blonde-ish AOC, the woman after cute but has bad vibes brunette sitting in the chair.

"Somebody, after all, had to make a start. What we wrote and said is also believed by many others. They just don't dare express themselves as we did."

So, spoiler time.

#1 - Fascist
#2 - Basque separatist, left-wing, troubling relationship with ETA (Essentially the basque Sinn Feinn)
#3 - Catalan separatist, far left
#4 - Canary Islands regionalist, left wing
#5 - Rural activist, part of the Empty Spain movement (rural provincial parties protesting neglect from regional and national governments)
#6 - Commie, managed to outmanoeuver Podemos and take over the Spanish left
#7 - Basque nationalist, conservative
#8 - Conservative, leads the polls
#9 - Another Empty Spain party
#10 - Former far right, nobody knows what she stands for now besides insanity
#11 - Catalan separatist, conservative, Puigdemont wing
#12 - Current PM, social democrat
#13 - Catalan separatist, left
#14 - Canary Islands regionalist, conservative

Languish didn't disappoint in voting for #10 :P

Forgot him!

It's easy to forget regional parties since we have so many...
