Do you say "this is my mom and dad," or do you use their names?
I introduce my dad as "my dad", but my mom as "Kip", which is her nickname that everyone calls her. I never call her "mom" and haven't since I was a little kid. :hmm:
You don't.
I thought you were like 50 or something Yi.
"This is my mom, <her first name here>"
I usually say "This is my mother" which then leaves space for her to give her own name.

Most 50 year olds have at least one living parent.

So what's her name? Not Mom's; the chick you're introducing them to for the first time.
Hey, Mom, this is whoever. Whoever, this is my Mom. Hey, where is the beer?
I don't introduce people to my Dad, he is a curmudgeon.

You introduce people you know who are in proximity because it's the right thing to do.
I invented an awesome new game tonight. (I was at a wedding after hours.) I call it The Cocktail Party game. Whoever introduces themselves to the most people they have not previously met wins.

I don't introduce my peers to my parents. If I did, I would probably do something similar to garbon and PDH.
Since my mom has a different last name than I do, I say, "This is my mom, Mrs. Ward". Otherwise, people end up incorrectly calling her "Mrs. Stokes". I don't introduce people to my father, because I never met him, or to my stepfather, because he's dead.
"This is my Dad"
The, please! Mr. Brain is my father.
