Ok, this is my Steam Wishlist, more or less. Now that I'm done with the Mass Effect series and bored with WoW, I've nothing to play. :(
Also, my brother is bugging the shit out of me to play Mechwarrior Online with him, which has the advantage of being free. :hmm:
Skip Bioshock 2. It's by far the weakest of the series. I liked Infinite better than 1, but YMMV.
Far Cry 3 is silly fun. Saints Row 3 is GTA with giant dildos and weird humor. Borderlands didn't do much for me for some reason, though the I love the setting/gameplay. Company of Heroes was too twitchy for me.
Tomb Raider is 50% off this weekend. I think the game is worth the price. The game is more of an action shooter, though, and less of a puzzle solver/tomb raiding game. Still, I thought it was very well done, with very cool environments (but forgettable characters).

I saw the sale but.... blech.
Of the games I have played - CoH, Borderlands 1&2, SR3 - I liked Saints Row 3 the best. It is over the top silly and stupid, but there is some good gameplay in there. When you get tired of doing the missions you can always run around and beat up hookers with a 4' long purple dildo.
I do want Far Cry 3 and Dishonored, but don't have them yet.
The Bioshock series does nothing for me.
I said Walking Dead as I've only played it and SR3 which I do not like. SR2 had a better balance on gangsters and comedy.
Voted SR3 and Borderlands 2.
Walking Dead really stands out, so that's what I voted.

I can't find any of my action shots, I must have lost them when I got my new PC. Here is a generic one from Google.

Metro: Last Light. Out on the 14th
I don't watch the show, but I've heard really good things about The Walking Dead game. Also, that company is working on a similar style game based on Fables which looks pretty cool.
Company of Heroes was a great RTS. Best one in years. It's also probably dirt cheap right now.
Do you want to try DOTA 2?
Can't go wrong with Dishonored or any of the Bioshock games, IMO.
Wrong. You can easily go wrong by buying Bioshock 2.
Bioshock Infinite, Far Cry, and Saints Row. Also might as well throw Company of Heroes in there, since it's really good and probably super cheap.
Looks like from the poll it'll be Bioshock Infinite or Far Cry 3. Thing is, both of those games are full price and I don't like paying full price for games. :yuk: Guess I'll wait till one or the other goes on sale, which I assume will be Far Cry first since it's not as new.
Eh. I'm more interested in Blood Dragon than Far Cry 3 vanilla. :P

*checks* Wait... it's a standalone game? :hmm:

I believe it is $15 - at least that's how much I payed last night.
I think I may start with Blood Dragon and then go from there based on what's on sale. Anyone have any feedback on that game yet?
I only briefly started playing it last night. Seemed fun but I also felt like I wanted to be in an altered state while playing it. :hmm:

Purchased.
On a related note, is there anyone here on Steam who wants to friend with me who I'm not already friended with? :)
I have no friends on Steam. But then again, I don't play multiplayer games, anyways.
I need some friends on Steam- nick's SevaraB.
I started playing Blood Dragon the other night and didn't finish the first mission.... at one point I got killed and it restarted from a 'checkpoint' (for some reason it seems like you can't manually save the game) and when I tried to play this morning I seemed to have no option other than the replay from the beginning.
That happened to me. You can save after you beat first mission (which is a bit lengthy). You then open up to world map where you can save. Kinda like how you can't save inside a mission like with GTA.
Off topic, anyone want a -75% coupon to TW: Shogun 2?

GF ignored me.
Sorry I ignored you , I'm not much of a weekend poster. I wan tto be your steam friends, altho we might already be.
DOTA 2 :
It's a MOBA, like League of Legends, Heroes of Newerth & that Blizzard version.
Quote
Multiplayer online battle arena (MOBA), also known as action real-time strategy (ARTS), is a sub-genre of the real-time strategy (RTS) genre, in which often two teams of players compete with each other in discrete games, with each player controlling a single character through an RTS-style interface. It differs from traditional RTS games in that there is no unit construction and players control just one character. In this sense, it is a fusion of action games and real-time strategy games. The genre emphasizes cooperative team-play; players select and control one "hero", a powerful unit with various abilities and advantages to form a team's overall strategy. The objective is to destroy the opponents' main structure with the assistance of periodically spawned computer-controlled units that march towards the enemy's main structure via paths referred to as "lanes".
Also more info on it's steam page.

What is DOTA2?
The first DotA was one of the most-played Warcraft 3 mods of all time. So good.
The system requirements on DotA 2 are too high for me, otherwise I'd be playing that too.
So I think while I wait for sales I'm gonna play me some more Skyrim. I did previously beat the game but I never finished the civil war questline, so I guess I can wrap that up. Also, are any of the DLCs worth purchasing? I'm also thinking of playing the game again as something different (first time thru I was a Nord warrior, which is what I always play in TES games).
Get dawn guard and dragon born.
Saint's Row 3 - now on sale for $10. Worth it?
Garbo didn't like it, i thought was fun though I'm a bigger fan of GTA series.

I'm thinking that alone might be worth ten bucks.
I'm sure a real Dildo Bat would cost more than $10

You been doing comparison shopping?
I if was, would have said I "KNOW" they cost more :P
I've been playing the shit out of Saint's Row The Third. Love it.
