Be honest.
This is partially inspired by garbon's other thread - I think it's a measure of a truly wise man to be able to separate one's aesthetics from one's politics.
Edit: Voted "other" to see results.
What if I support it, disgusted by two men, and enjoy two women kissing?

That option is outside the Martisphere.

That's fine (and also why I specifically asked about two guys). I think this is honest and I think this is the goal we should be aiming at - since you can't change biology - so calling straight people who are uncomfortable with seeing two guys kissing homophobes is counter-productive.
What if I support it and find two gay men kissing hott?

Was just being smartass, haven't voted yet, but will be #1, spent enough time in gay bars to be disgusted by two men kissing.

So in your view is this a matter of exposure or is it something else?
P.S. I suspect only Neil will vote the option "does not support gay marriage but likes to see two men kissing". :P
I support gay marriage but find it offensive when anyone kisses in public beyond a quick peck.
Your poll does not separate out disgust for people probing eachothers tonsils in public regardless of sexual orientation.

Fair enough but then again I wasn't also limiting this to PDAs.
For example, I suspect most straight people are not disgusted when they see a man/woman couple kissing in a movie?
I support gay marriage but I don't think about the issue at all.

Yeah that's my stance too. I don't have an issue with people of any sexual orientation kissing but PDAs can get egregious and awful.

Well i grew up with homosexuality being accepted. My dad is oldest of 6 kids, two of his three sisters are/were Lesbians. Had other distant cousins who knew since I was young were out (helped being from/living in San Francisco I'm sure for them)
My best friend from Alaska is gay, he ended up moving to Colombia of all places as that is where his Husband is from originally.
So my point is I've been exposed to it all my life so can't say if it was something else as it is all i've ever known.

Well it is an important distinction. I dont care one way or the other when I see men kissing on TV. When I see PDA's it is different.
CC, assume I meant the kiss in a non-otherwise-offensive situation.

What I mean is I dont care who is kissing who in an otherwise inoffensive manner. But since your poll question left open the possibility of PDA, I voted 2.
I voted Option 2, but I wouldn't say it's disgust at all, just a level of discomfort. I see nothing wrong with it and no reason why my biological reaction to something should have any sway over what is or isn't good public policy.
Voted option 4, because ewww.
Why would two guys be kissing?

#2.
There are financial impacts to this measure that should be considered, but it shouldn't be a reason to deny some group of people what the majority can do. Besides, what I like or not should not be a valid basis for public policy. We might as well forbid chocolate ice cream, if that's the case.

I voted Other. What's a gay person?
I feel disgusted with anybody kissing in public. Public displays of affection are more annoying than tailgating, littering and the homeless combined.
Fags: gross

I'm with fahdiz here. I don't think 'disgust' is the right word, but yes it kind of skeeves me out somehow.

The poll is sexist Marty.
Sometimes 1, sometimes 2. Depends how heavily they're going at it.
And I note your poll makes no mention of straight couples kissing. That can be pretty icky too.
What Squeeze said.
Is Squeeze Tyr. If so, why? I voted 1, but I based that on not find homosexual displays of affection any more disturbing then heterosexual ones. I still find it kinda awkward.
Because of his old name.

His old name was Josquius, which has a "squee" sound in the middle.

Considering your location and the resulting increased homeless per capita, I will defer.

I wonder how that would go in the US:

That's not a kosher picture.
Why are so many of you people fag enablers?
Yeah Viper, you think this is TBR or something! :P
I thought this said "gay pill for straight people". And there I was ready to embrace my inner Sappho.
Hawtt.
In retrospect I shouldn't have probably used the word "disgust" but "discomfort". I think this is pretty natural.

It is something one gets used to. In my city, such displays have gone in my lifetime from absolutely verboten in public, through edgy, to almost complete public indifference.
First time I saw open gay affection in public I was uncomfortable with it. Now, it really has no impact on me at all one way or the other, unless they are really making a spectacle of themselves - same goes for straights.

Doesn't explain much about who they are. Just tells me they are pretty evil and terrible.
If we didn't have people in the majority support a political cause in spite of whatever personal discomfort it causes them, no civil rights cause ever would progress.
