Timmay will return briefly and we must fete him and host him. All Languideshians should come. Sometime in January.
I wanna come.
No, I'll be in Los Angeles. Besides, I might catch Patriotard Fever.
Sorry, I'll probably be in Vienna at the time.
I am going to visit Ohio then. Or maybe Mississippi.

What are you doing in Los Angeles?
Go eat some chowdah.
I used to enjoy going to these. :)
I might be available and interested in a trip to the Boston area. What's the time frame?

Dreadnought battleshipping. And I guess I have to take my niece and nephew to Disneyland.
January, I should be pretty flexible. :) For the city or rail-accessible burbs.
Will you talk about me?
Sorry, I'll likely be in Europe.

Yoga lessons ?
Is the Battleship Massachusetts open in winter? That sounds like a suitably Languish thing to do.
Although, I probably won't have access to a car, so you guys might have to come to my town.
I should be able to make a meet up in the Boston area.
Where abouts do you live Tims?
Trip has been extended a week.
Cumberland. The most northeastern part of RI
keep me posted date-wise.
I might possibly be able to make a trip north in late January, but early in the month is out.
Should be there Jan 10-Feb 1
I'll be there.
Never let them take that away from you, man.
If it were VA or something I would probably come, but if I cross the Mason-Dixon Line, I start to vanish like Marty McFly in Back to the Future.

I've flown Boston to Seoul numerous times. A little trip like that barely registers with me.
I drove from Providence to Wilmington N.C. once, only took 15 hours.
Let Zoups get you. He's good for some beer.
You guys would not be able to understand a single word Ide said.
I talked to Ide once on skype. He was understandable.
I know a guy here who teaches English at an Elementary school here, he's from E. Tennessee Appalachia and his accent is straight out of deliverance.

OK Tim. Make with the date spewing so we can plan this shit.
I might be in for this. Come up with a time frame, Tim.

Indeed. I'm an articulate man. Perhaps Yi's problem is Yi's. :hmm:
Anyway, I can't take off work even if it were free, since I've got to continue working till I take a week or two off for hardcore bar study (I'll be studying prior to that, just not ten hours a day). This is, granted, assuming the hearing goes well. :x

Will be in America from Wednesday the 10th to Friday the 1st of February.
I could only make it up if it was on a weekend, and Jan. 12th, 13th and 26th are also out. Other than that no preferences.
If you do this the weekend of the MLK holiday(Jan 19-21), I might look at getting in on it.
Also, +1 for being able to understand Ide.
Will Tim's sister be there?
I can do MLK weekend.
As long as somebody raps Timmay on the snout with a rolled up copy of "Letter From a Birmingham Jail" for me, please.

Where tim? Which day?
Since it's my vacation, I'm willing to work with what's best with you guys. I don't really have any concrete plans, just gonna hang with the family.
That Monday should be good I think. As I said earlier I'm may not have access to a car. Even if I do, a lot interesting Languish oriented stuff will be closed for the Federal holiday/winter.
You guys have GPS? If we are going to meet in my town and some of you don't have it, the easiest public place to meet up before heading out to a bar or whatever would probably be the parking lot of the Town library, it's not far from the highway. But it would be closed for the weekend, maybe snowed in...(though it's also a public park open every day) :hmm:
Quote from: TonitrusI checked their website, the USS Massachusetts should be open (in fact, they're having some kind of MLK-day scavenger hunt thing for families).
Ooh...google suggests that would be just a 35-40 minute drive for me.
Let me look into the car situation, that sounds like a good option.
If I can make it, I can provide transportation. Though if the meet is on Monday...that would be the travel-home day for me.
Also would need to figure out how to best circumnavigate NYC. :hmm:

That's easy. Jump off I-95 onto 287; takes you around all the bullshit, and you can jump onto 87 and cross over the Tappan Zee. You can even stop at that mega mall at Palisades and kill half a day.
Malls. :yucky:

Don't make any plans based on what I say, guys. :P
Clearly you guys need to meet at a Chinese restaurant.
Yes. Chinese. Sunday would be better from a traffic POV, but I can do Monday. Just don't wanna be stuck in workday traffic going through Boston.

I think I can do Sunday too, is that better for everyone else too?
So, this gonna happen?
I would prefer Monday because of the AFC championship game, but if Sunday's the only day you guys can meet, I'll do it.
You could always meet up and go to a bar to watch football. :hmm:

Will you be rooting for the Texans or Ravens?
Patriots!
My only issue with Monday is that most of my journey wiill be on 95/128 and it'd be shear hell if we are out late enough. But if that is what's best for everyone else I can do it.
Never mind. Monday will be the day I can do. I have been: Given Orders for Sunday. TIM! Make it happen.

I can't make Monday as I'll be working. Have fun!
Awww.
Just who is able to go?
Not likely to be able to make it.
So is this dead? What about the weekend after?
Weekend after might work. Sunday the 3rd. Saturday is a maybe.
I thought Tim left the 1st?

That's right, this isn't the last weekend. I can do the 26-27. Tim, make sure other people will too.

Frunk, Tonitrus, what do you say?
Likely not. That long of a haul on a regular two-day weekend would be more hairy than I'd prefer.
Very disappointing. :(
Danes.
So, Wags? Could you make it for dinner at a local bar and grill?
If anyone is interested in getting together this summer, it looks like the Max & Meri clan will be in Rhode Island from August 4-August 11 for a family reunion. I'm planning a day-trip to Boston and a day-trip to NYC while we're there so Ri and Jeremy can check out the universities they like out there, but otherwise, we'll primarily be in RI and CT visiting family.
Eh, which day Tim? Saturday is looking like it'll be very snowy. Sunday I've been co-opted into a family dinner.
I can't do either day. Hot Sauce Party on Saturday and Chocolate Tasting on Sunday. I lead a hard life.

Alright sure. We can chat closer to then and see what works out.
I'm down with that Meri.
Sorry Tim, school is just starting so taking a day out of work this week or next would be problematic. otherwise I'd take the day and go down.
:(
Just a dusting of snow today. <_<
A licky boom-boom down.
