In overpaying for common appliance.
No, don't worry. I have not bought a 4000$ stroller.
Only a 111$ toilet brush. :Embarrass:
I really should have checked the price before placing the order. And I thought I'd be saving money by going directly to the distrubutor. Frack me :(
What does it do to justify the price?
He bought a gross.
I don't think your massively overpriced toilet brush is going to impress people with your conspicuous consumption like a $2000 stroller would.
Though I guess it depends on the crowd you hang out with. :D
It would really have to be fitted with an Automated Skidmark Detection System clean the toilet itself to justify that price! Can't you send it back for a refund?
I still have one of the toilet brushes that came with my flat. There were two originally. And just one toilet

I suppose it gave the previous occupant and a friend something to do together of an evening. :D
It was the only toilet bowl brush he could find that exclusively cleaned the toilet in French.
In some ways technology can perform this 'function'; I especially look back on the just sub $800 20MB hard disk I once bought, particularly as yesterday a 4000MB micro-sd card cost me around $3. So roughly 250th of the cost for 200 times the capacity.
edit:
Actually I don't ever recall paying over the odds for something, whose function couldn't be performed by a budget or quality reasonable priced item.

Nothing special, it's just plastic with a chrome like finish and it is bolted to the wall. I selected all my accessories thinking no one would charge more than 20-30$ for something like that. Turns out, I was wrong.

no, all the stuff was a special order.
The other model I wanted was unavailable.

Maybe it depends on where your crowd hangs out; maybe it'll get notice by a friend taking a line of coke off the downed toilet lid ?
Pimp My Bogbrush :hmm:
There might just be a reality show in it, one can never underestimate the taste of the public

I don't know - do people do coke off toilet lids in their friend's apartment? ;) I though that was more a 'night at the club' sort of thing ... but maybe his friends don't want to share. :hmm:

No, they bought some of the Zellers store and are in the process of clearing the store, then they will modify it to suit their needs and re-open as a mini-Walmart. It's a city of less than 5000 souls, it wasn't really in their priority.
As for giving up on Quebec, that's not the case, the market is just saturated for their big stores. They got at least one in mid size cities (30 000 and above) accross the province. Maybe they closed one and did not reopen it, I can't remember.
You need to take into account that the entire population of Quebec could fit in Boston's CSA.
What's a CSA?
