Our office is shut next week, so I'm "working" a half day from home tomorrow (AKA buying spuds and Brussels sprouts from the market) then I'm finished until 3 January 2012. How about you?
Wo-rk?
I'm off on Friday and Monday, and that's it.
I'm off on monday. Usally I would take some days of, but I don't have any to spare this time

Office is closed on the 23rd (thanks, company) and the 27th (public holiday). Unfortunately, Austria doesn't follow the enlightened UK example of having the Monday off if a holiday falls on a weekend.
I'll be on vacation from tomorrow till 1st, though, and the 6th is another public holiday (Epiphany).
Normal work week.
We have to save three days from out annual leave for the compulsory time off between the weekends...
26th, 27th, 29th, and 30th. gotta work the 28th.
25TH-28TH
Still no paid days off, but we can't work on the 26th or the 2nd.
I am scheduled off all of next week, the first time I have had more than a 4 day weekend in the 15 months since I started my new job. I have been working a night shift the last 2 weeks (4 - 12 hours shifts, 4 PM - 4 AM :yuk:) and convinced my co-workers that there is not nearly enough to do tomorrow night for 5 people and volunteered to take one for the team and stay home. I don't have to go back until the 3rd of January. :showoff:
No paid days off though. :(
26th, 27th, 28th,4th onwards
I'm on vacation for the entirety of next week. Biggest Christmas vacation I've ever had.
Only Monday off. I am considering taking vacation between Christmas and New Year but will depend on my workload.
Only Monday off.
Half day tomorrow, off until the 3rd.
Next Monday off - working till the 30th - then off till Jan 10th.
G.
I have no idea.

Pretty much the same. Today is my last day (full day) then back on the 3rd.

Well yeah but you are working in a heathen country.
I'm off Friday and Monday for both Christmas and New Years Holidays. Monday is the official day, and I'm taking the two Fridays off as vacation days.
None. I'm off tomorrow through the 3rd.

Off Monday 26th.
Today, tomorrow, off Christmas Eve and Day, Boxing Day, then I'm off until at least Jan. 1.
Tomorrow's going to suck because I'm closing, so I'm going to get back in around 1:15 AM-ish.
Hope I don't get called up into active duty in the War on Christmas this year.

I've become a subversive after I got subjected to a couple hours of "Jingle Cats" on repeat as a joke.
Speaking of the War on Christmas, shouldn't the White House menorah be renamed the White House holiday candelabra?

And that will help the Liberal Godless attempt to brutally slaughter all Christians in the streets how?

It will make the Godless Liberals more consistent. Thus augmenting their power in their quest to slaughter Christians.

Divide and conquer my friend. They make the Jews think they are their friends then...BOOM.
From Today 'till the 4th.

But what to do about the holiday kneeling and head-touching rugs Obama keeps stashed away? :hmm:
Three weeks of holidays starting Friday 23rd after work. Return on Monday 16 at noon (dawn train to work though).
:)
I'll probably have to work next week. It's project closing time!
Been on vacation since Tuesday, and I don't see those fuckers again until 2012.

Can't carry over more than 80 hours into the new year, and trying to burn through 5 weeks is a bitch.
The asylum never sleeps. We managed to get all patients into their respective homes from the morning of the 24th till 17:30 on 26th. During that time several colleagues are doing on-call duty. I myself have the 23rd to 25th off.
I'm working on the 27th-28th, but need to take the rest of the week off to prepare for the New Year's eve dinner and do some personal stuff. Don't intend to be back in office until the 9th, unless there's an emergency.
I have only Monday off, but I'm sure I'll run into the annual PTO must-burn time next week. Usually HR calls me and says I have X amount left.

Nah, just being American and celebrating the family. I saved up some vacation days so that I can make my yearly pilgrimage to Palm Springs. Work is only giving me 2 hours off tomorrow and Monday off.

I'll see who shows up tomorrow until about noon then I'll close up and stay closed barring emergencies until oh...January 1st?
And I'm out for the year.
None, but I took time off from the 18th to the 3rd. :frog:
Technically, I could work every day. instead, I'm taking this weekend and Monday off to go visit the in-laws. I'll be off next Saturday and Sunday, but will work the rest of the week since I get no paid holidays.

Yeah, I managed quite a coup; not only do I burn my vacation time, which makes the VP happy since HR won't be on his ass for leftover PTO, but I work from home and get things done anyway, which makes my director happy since the VP won't be on his ass for leftover projects.

Got The Man's approval to bail out early today and clock the 8 hours. Didn't even have to ask.

You lazy fuck.
Sorry. -_-
Today was the last day of work before the school closes for construction.
No work for all of Jan, besides occasional subbing at other schools and some tutoring on the side. :)
Today and yesterday were rough, though. Did Christmas activities from 5-8:30, and had 3 2-hour classes from 10am-6:30pm today. I also had the joy of being the first teacher to give the new placement test to a whole class, which included an oral assessment for all 15 kids in the class. "About how long will the test take?" "Dunno, you're the first to give it."
University gave off the 23-2nd, but I took off the week before too, because I can. I love the government.
