Maybe he should write it in on his hand.
Big kudos to the CNBC team, best debate to date.
Perry is done.
Romney looked good. Calling the Student/Tibetian killing Oligarchs "currency manipulators" priceless. :worthy:
Gingrich had his moments, but Nasty Newt was there for a bit. I hate him too much to offer further review.
Poor Santorum, too dumb to understand it's time to go.
Love Huntsman, but he's not making traction.
Cain's "Princess Nancy" comment poor judgment, but consider the source.
I wonder who it was that said "Oh my..." at the end of your video, Valmy.

No shit. The alternative is terrifying...
My money is still on the Mormon. The first one. Not the other one.
I'll bet Christie is kicking his advisors about now.
No way he comes back now.
Romney is definitely going to win the nomination.
Couldn't come up with an agency to get rid of on the fly? Hell, I could come up with like eight.
IRS
Missile Defense Agency
DARPA
Labor
Bureau of Consumer Financial Protection
Secret Service
Peace Corps
DHS
There, that was less time. I don't think any should actually be gotten rid of, but I look less foolish, and I'm pretty positive the IRS is the one he meant.
Update: Oops, nope, he meant the Department of Energy.
P.S. What's so bad about the Department of Commerce? Yeah, fuck the National Weather Service!
It was such a useless agency, that did so little, the name momentarily escaped him :P

What about: Ron Paul?
If the Wall Street protesters are being opressed by the elite via attempts to ridicule, Ron is being holocausted
Ron Paul won't win because he won't say everything primary voters want to hear. They may be receptive to his economic message this time around, but not his foreign policy. And all the other major candidates are basically echoing his economic views.
What I loved was when he was obviously struggling, one of the moderators (Maria Bartiromo?) immediately started to move on to deficit reduction. If the other moderator didn't jump in to press on the point, Perry would have slid.

Well, it doesn't help that Paul is crazy. Like claiming the CIA has launched a coup and overthrown the US government crazy.
Perry should have had this down cold. The third agency was energy, I'm sure. The energy dept had a lot of say in the Gulf cleanup which affected Texas, so if Perry had issues with how that dept handled things it should have been a no brainer for him to discuss.
That was so, um, what was that word, um, you know, um, funny.
WTF? Surely in a country as vast as America, the Republicans can dig up *some* candidates with brains?

Seriously. I feel sorry for Perry and this makes me warm to him on a personal level, but sweet Jesus this was meant to be the conservative saviour from Romney
I can't understand how the Republican have managed to do this. They've got a winnable Presidential election and the only people competing for it are either hugely unloved/unloveable (Romney, Huntsman, possibly Gingrich) or make Mike Gravel look like a sensible, grounded, disciplined candidate.
Also Texas. WTF?

This reminds me a lot of the 2004 election, actually.

We are a one party state. Perry was just one of dudes swept into office along with George W Bush in the 1994 red storm. Bush ran for President so he became Governor and the Republican machine has crushed any conservative who has tried to oppose him. Ergo even though he is generally regarded as an incompetent and corrupt we are powerless to get rid of him. I am just amazed the National Republicans didn't know it.

Yep. That is the other thing. People keep wanting to give Perry credit for Texas' successes which is sorta like giving the George VI credit for winning WWII.

Go and suck Obama's cock, faggot.
Perry's been done; he just hasn't figured out how to go home. I don't know why he was even getting the support he was getting in the beginning. An inarticulate, anti-intellectual Texas governor frat boy, running for president because he's got nothing better to do? WHAT COULD HAPPEN
I admire Huntsman, as much as I can admire someone from that fucked up party, but he's broke and the Tea Baggers will never let him get past the primary.
And if Mitt Romney keeps showing his true colors as a Republican that doesn't always buy his party's own bullshit, who knows what could happen. I despise Mormons, but in the end, if he and his freaky cultist wants to pad around like extras in Defending Your Life and baptising dead people, meh. Uber Christian fundies like Bachmann are even more dangerous.
They bitch about Romney not having "core values". I see him as someone who sees everything as up for negotiation. Maybe that's what we need now: less intransigent demagoguery, more deal-making.
