Inspired by the mechanic thread.
Yeah, but the public transit system in Vienna is one of the best for a city its size.
Day to day no, work is 10 minutes bike ride away.
When I go outside the city though usually yes.
Used to, but I need a car for work.
What am I, poor?
Yes, but I consider getting a car when my annual ticket runs out because my new place of work isn't reached as conveniently with public transport as my previous place of work was.
Since I live in likely the only city in Wyoming that has public transportation throughout the main parts of the city, I could. But, since I am an American I don't. Public transportation is for communists/fascists/hippies/losers.
Also, isn't this the kijillionth pubic transportation thread?
No.
Palanquin.
Since I only live in properly organised cities, I do use public transport.
I usually walk.
I usually get around by bike, like most people here.
Where's the option for what I do - the Park n' Ride? I drive to the nearby LRT station, then take the train from there?

Yes (and I own a car)
Currently I'm mostly walking. In Korea I took the bus and the train a lot. Before that I owned a car.
I wish I could ride a bus but the routes don't work in my favor.

If anything, the missing option is "No (and I use a bicycle)".
I don't drive unless I have to and I don't take public transit unless I have to. If I have the time, I walk.
In North Carolina?
Back when we were in WV and only had 1 car (aa didn't have her driver's license yet) aa took the bus a fair amount when she had to go somewhere when I was at work, but she ususally walked. At least public transit was an option there.
I would walk/bike/or use public transportation if I lived in a city with the right setup. Currently, I work/mostly go out in a city that's about 15 miles of highway away from me, so I drive.
Only time I take public transit is when I'm headed into town. Cab fare from where I live to the party district is roundabouts $100 and I only do that one way in a pinch. Sometimes I wonder if suffering the morons is worth it though. Tonight I had to suffer a drunken brit raving at a couple of teens that they had to move their bikes. Fucking English.
I mainly walk.
Anyways... I love driving, but I hate rush hour traffic.
Driving in Yukon was fabulous. Driving even 5 hours to court was fine - you so rarely even met an oncoming vehicle.
Needless to say driving in Edmonton is nothing like that. <_<
So... LRT. I tried taking the bus right from my house, but being out in the burbs you can wait up to a half hour for a bus. Screw that. But thee days I'm heading to work for 7am. So the park and ride lot is almost empty. The train still comes every 5 minutes. I get on the train, I get the free newspaper, I read leisurely while I head in to work.
I ram public busses and run over people on bicycles.
Car. Hardly anything is close enough to walk to, and public transport doesn't have much presence around here.
No. There are only four bus routes that service my county and enough distance between points A and B that taxis would get expensive fast, so I drive. However, when I'm visiting S in Philly, I take public transit up there and we use it for getting anywhere that we can't walk.
Mostly by car, working on transitioning to bicycle.
It would be near impossible to get to work using public transportation, or take a very long time and multple transfers after a long walk.
No car, so if I want to go somewhere it is the T and buses for me. Pretty decent public transport in metro Boston. For my day-to-day existence, though, I mostly walk. And if I want to do something exotic, I've got a bunch of Zipcar locations near me to rent a car for a few hours.
