Passed a gas station today and notice petrol (gas) was 1.43 GBP per litre. :gasp:
If one assumes ones car does 40 mpg (imperial) that works out at over 25c per mile. :hmm:
The poll is in small* gallons rather the proper gallons.
All of the vehicles I've driven, other than works ones, have returned between 25 and 45 mpg (21 to 38 in us gallons )
* 1 imperial gallon equals about 1.2 US gallons
I think I'm 29 highway/23 city.
My car is 29 highway, 21 city. I guess 25 would be a good guess for overall, and that's the official combined number as well.
A Twix per 10 miles.

Gas or blueberries?
About 38mpg(US)
Or
6.5l/100km
According to the web, 4x4 Toyota Tacoma gets 16mpg city, 20 mpg highway.
19 city 26 hwy
I don't own a vehicle anymore.
Atrocious. Around 20 in the city, 25ish on highway. I've been able to push it up to around 30-32 but that means not going above 100-110km/h and certainly no passing.
Very good.
which vehicle? I own six.

Obviously not Challenger, since 0 mpg is the lowest answer poll options allow.
Eh....I get about 20mpg average per tank, with most of it being in the city. I'd guess ~18 or so in the city, ~26 on the highway.
I get around 45 highway and 40 city on average. Although I wish I bought a Prius instead of an Insight.

Don't insult Rachael.
If I get on the highway, then 30+
If I've only been doing city driving, then about 25.
EPA ratings, or what we actually get? 'Cause the stupid Focus doesn't get anywhere near what it should. I used to have a '76 Plymouth with a 350 4-barrel that got better mileage.

You gave a Motown product a Jew name? Now that's an insult. Should at least be Martha, or perhaps Delthea.
I'm not as concerned about my Wrangler's gas mileage as I am about what it can fucking drive over.
Incidentally local petrol prices here are the equvalent of $8.20 per US gallon. :hmm:

Really? I have an '08 Ford Focus and it get's about what it was rated.
A lot does depend on how it's driven - AC, heavy traffic and bad driving habits can all drop it like a stone.

Though I gotta say, we have a pretty strong contingent of dicks who drive ricers around here- it's always funny seeing their confused expressions when a "family sedan"-looking car paces their Accord and blocks them from swinging around it at high speed. :menace:

Plymouth never made a 350 cid in the 60's or 70's. 1976 would have been a 318 or 360
