It's, I dunno, a sparrow or something. It can't fly. What should I do with it?

Any animal rescue organizations in Edmonton?
Do you have a cat?
Shovel and trash can deals with that situation nicely.
Heal it back to health and one day it might be in a position to return the favor.

Beeb is out of clerical healing for the day. He needs to rest for 8 hours.
Sounds like your cat is getting a nice treat!
Nurse it back to health, and then occasionally ruminate on the good deed you have done until the end of your days.
After many phone calls, we located an emergency animal clinic that would take a wounded injured bird.
Wife went to put him in the box we prepared when the damn thing took off flying. :)
Guess he was just stunned and needed a rest.
Of course now we can't seem to convince the feathery bastard to leave our garage.
Slay it and offer it to the Blood God.
Maybe it wants something?

This may be a bad idea.
What if it's an ancestral spirit come to deliver some sort of message?
If you sacrifice it, there may be consequences.
I vote Nay on Sacrifice.

Norwegian Blues stun easily.
Ask it if it wants a drink.
A bird flew into my house once and attacked me. :(
Coincidentally the lady next door just showed me a baby bird she had picked up off the street. Two siblings were dead already. She said another lady she knew had offered to take care of the chick.
The benefits of moving "south".

Anybody surprised that josq thought first of the booze? Anybody?

Lol... did the bird leave yet? I'd assume if you keep the door open, once the bird recovers enough then it'll fly out in search of food. I'm thinking that it might have been attacked by a hawk or something, escaped and became stunned and fearful to move away from safety.
That reminds me. I saw a bunch of feathers in my back yard. Looks like one of the neighbor's cats must have gotten a bird.
Throw it at high speed at a nearby house where pigs are hiding.

I like my backyard better, because it features coyotes getting cats. :menace:

KRonn is an IT guy, so wouldn't get that reference, as he knows to avoid Apple products. :)

 Angry Birds is available on android & PSP. Plus PC, PSN & Xbox Live versions are coming.
But nice dig at Apple.
But Mart would know it from the iPad, yes?
I confess I didn't know it was available on multiple platforms, though.

I was walking down the street once and this big black bird was flying in my area and I was pretty much ignoring it...and then randomly it turned and rammed me right in the head.

Coyotes can't get cats. Different species.

Having lived in a Coyote and Cat filled city for a long time I can tell you first hand that Coyotes do get a lot of pussy

Ouch. This bird was a starling and it flew in my front door as I opened it one morning to throw the coffee grounds in the bushes. It flew right into my head and was flapping its damn wings all over my face. I had to herd the goddamn thing out of my house... took like 10 minutes. If I wasn't indoors I would have grabbed the rifle. I hate starlings--little bastards keep trying to build nests in my roof, chimney, etc. I want to time travel back and kill the sonofabitch who introduced them to America because "they were featured in Shakespeare's plays". Fuck Shakespeare and fuck the starling. :ultra:

use a broom, leave the door open, and try to chase him away gently outside.
Or you push him into a corner, try to capture it (wearing gloves), see what's going on and heal him.
