I've given it serious thought. I must scorn the ways of my family, and seek a Japanese woman to yield me my progeny. He shall live in the lands of the east, and be well tutored in his sacred trust to weave the best traditions of Japan and the Sacred South together, until such time as he (or, indeed his house, which will periodically require infusion of both Southern and Japanese bloodlines of note) can deliver to the South it's independence, either in this world or in space.
Go for it.
Almost classic.

It is non-negotiable that the mother of my child be Japanese, yes. Chinese comfort women are permissible- a man needs relief from the stresses of such a great enterprise as I find myself undertaking.
The fast-approaching Vision Quest to the West will allow me ingratiate myself with America's indigenous Asian population. I shall LEARN of their MANNERISMS

Why? Surely you must have known that, while I'm not one to deny a young man his imaginings and fantasies, I'm always sure to remind them that they shouldn't take it too far. There's a difference between having an interest in some elements of Japanese culture and thinking that all the problems in your life will be solved if you change your ethnicity.
QuoteIn any event, Japan is where it's at. From our base in Yezo, we will nourish our strength until we can restore Southern culture from the outside.
Certainly you can go to Japan and take on some work there. Buddha did it, and you should be able to do so as well. Just remember that anime isn't real life, you aren't a high school student or a magical girl, and that life is hard there. Also, try and have a healthy attitude towards relationships with the natives. If you go in with the expectations that have been built up by all those hours of moe anime, you'll only be disappointed and isolated.
Okay, I looked it up and I still don't understand.
No, but Neil does. Neil is the very pillar of this community, an amazing figure none could hope to equal. He is the very model of what a man should aspire to be.
I won't be too unrealistic about life in Japan. I am inured to poverty, at any rate.

That is a curious notion.
I don't look down on the Japaneese. They are induitably a noble race, and aside from the times when they savagely murder and rape good White folk, they're alright people. Especially so since they've been domesticated.
HOWEVER, this does not change the fact that they ain't white, you perverted son of a bitch.
They're not white, but it's not as if race-mixing is a problem. Japanese society is built on similar values to our own, and so they are, for the most part, acceptable as partners and mates.

Theoretically, an acceptable position.
However, for the sake of diversity, it is unacceptable. It would also risk spreading certain unsavoury Japaneese traits such as their twisted fascination for tentacle porn and vending machines with used panties.
Ironically, the diversity cult's endgame is a monocultured brown hollywood-fed proletariat to power the machines of capitalism. America may be the land of opportunity and dreams, but it's more a twisted nightmare. :hmm:

Problem solved, I suppose. :hmm:
I dated the daughter of the Japanese consul general in Winnipeg once upon a time (she had been raised all over the place, spoke English with an American accent). She refused to let me meet her father though, as dating white boys was not allowed.
Japanese thoughts on race mixing are complicated. Certainly, coming to Japan you can expect a certain celebrity by virtue of being a Westerner. It shouldn't be hard to find an adventurous Japanese girl almost exclusively on that basis. Opinions of the west are positive and friendly.
However, becoming a normal member of society will never, ever happen. And marrying a Japanese woman naturally will face considerable opposition- not that the younger set isn't more inclined to it than their forebears.
It's pretty naughty, ruining Japan's glorious homogenous society, but I wouldn't be doing this to them if the Japanese man had not shoved away the mantle of reproduction, determining to dwindle as a civilization on his beautiful island. They need my help, and I need there's. It is a most auspicious conjunction.
Admit it, you are just going there for the Hentai and the naughty tentacles, and the possibility to buy used panties sold by 12 years old to sniff and whack to.
I'd take the buxom Southern Belles over Japanese lolicons anyday. Hell, I'd take the Alabama redneck trash hos over Japanese lolicons anyday.

Why does languish think I am so perverted? I am a gentleman of restraint. Naughty tentacles are scandalous and far too torrid to seriously consider.
Southern women are a disgustingly extroverted lot. They seem to have picked up some unwholesome notions about their own self worth, and they all tend to think, act and even look the same way.

Afraid of "real" women? Indeed?
It is not a fear but a contempt.
It was not a problem in Memphis, necessarily, being a cosmopolitan place that has all sorts. Midtown girls are a delightful bunch, and an eclectic group.
However, Martin, TN is...Martin, TN. I would encourage y'all to come out to the sticks and see what the women are like.
Or rather, what every single one of them is like- you need only meet one.
For much of my life I reflexively defended the South, even when it was wrong. I am a bit sick of it; I am going to see more of the world.
The Heirs of the Confederacy should account themselves far better than they do.
I am confused about your post, though, drakken- for one, do you really think my only knowledge of Japan is from anime?

Tsk! You'll see. I was fending off advances not the day before last. My brief withdrawal from committed monogamy is until such time as I can find someone who is worthy of my tremendous grandeur.
It is a hopelessly vain search in this town. In the cities with their millions, I will find someone worthy of subordinating themselves to me-

Anime -is- cool, Neil. I can't imagine you'd dislike House of Five Leaves or Eden of the East, and those are extremely recent.
Edit: that isn't to say moé isn't making anime extremely uninclusive to new people and doing bad things to the genre's creativity. But great stuff is being made every season that isn't that- even if you find yourself unable to enjoy K-on or the other moéblob brainmelts.

Did you get that flyer from the Communists? Apparently they're running candidates in Calgary East and Edmonton - Mill Woods - Beaumont.
They've got a bunch of exciting things on their program like stop and reverse the loss of manufacturing jobs while they'll also expand employment and raise the minimum wage to $16/hour, reduce the work week to 32 hours (no loss of income) and up EI to 90%. They'll also cut income tax completely on earnings below $35K, double the corporate tax rate and put banks and insurance companies under public ownership.
They've got a ton of other promises too, that I'm sure you'd find appealing such as leaving NATO and NORAD.
Leaving NORAD? I've never heard that idea before.
Perhaps I just don't spend as much time as I once did watching anime. Indeed, I hardly watch any anymore. The moe genres have really damaged anime for me since I require an interesting male character to enjoy a program and most of the moe genres have either no male characters or a generic haremmaster. I miss the interesting sci-fi animes from when I was a kid, or perhaps I was more uncritical back then.
